Walking distance to world famous La Jolla Cove, beaches, shopping, art galleries, museums and restaurants. The Casita/Guest House has 1 bedroom, living room, full bathroom, kitchenette with new microwave, coffee maker, sink, induction cook top, compact refrigerator. There is a large patio/deck with a new Viking grill, freezer, outdoor heater and outdoor table, lounge chairs and 3 market umbrellas. The bathroom has been remodeled recently with Marrakesh Tile flooring, a new vanity with marble counter top, new shower / tub with new shower head and fixtures. The Kitchenette has also been upgraded with a Quartz counter top, new sink and faucet. The property is located at 7701 Ivanhoe Ave East in the Village of La Jolla. The location is in a very upscale residential neighborhood that is easy walking distance to all that the Village of La Jolla has to offer (Beaches, restaurants, museums, art galleries, night life, shopping). For those that may be sensitive to noise we have an Adaptive Sound Sleep Therapy System that has 10 soothing settings such as Ocean Waves, Rushing Brook, Rainfall, Crackling Fireplace, Crickets in a Meadow, etc.. which will allow you to sleep comfortably. 1 Bedroom with a Queen size bed, full bathroom. Kitchenette has a coffee maker, new microwave, sink, new induction cook top, compact refrigerator, rice cooker, toaster and blender. There is a Desk in bedroom with wireless internet. Original artwork and paintings by local artist Fay Richert. Living room has a new European Style Queen Size Sleeper Sofa , new carpet, 2 large leather couches and leather chair with ottoman, Dish Network internet compatible HDTV , DVD player. The entire suite with bedroom and living room is approximately 600 sq. ft. Original art work by local artists. Large patio deck has Spanish pavers (400 sq. ft. approximately), new Viking grill and table with 4 chairs for relaxing after a day at the beach. There are 3 large umbrellas and outdoor propane gas heater to make sure you are comfortable regardless of the weather. The location is 3 blocks from world class shopping, restaurants, art galleries and museums on Prospect St. and Girard Ave. Beaches, Scripps Park, The Seal Rookery, and the Cove are all within easy walking distance. We provide 2 beach chairs, beach towels and cooler for your use while staying at the Casita. The place was clean and the hosts were very responsive throughout the process. We loved the outdoor patio area. We also appreciated the fans provided, since we knew there was no air conditioning. We kept the windows open and the fans running, which also provided great white noise since the place is on a busy intersection. We would definitely stay there again! Quick response to all messages I sent thru the VRBO app. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom has shower and tub. Patio is so comfy to read or play on your phone, especially at sunset. Sleeping in the living room (closest to the busy intersection) was a little louder than I expected because it was warm and we kept the windows open, but we couldn’t hear the traffic at all from the bedroom. I’m still leaving 5 stars because the description is very thorough and we had no surprises. Just make sure to read the full details and you’ll love it here! Very walkable area and homeowners were kind and super responsive! Comfortable, well-equipped, clean, cozy but spacious, easy walk to groceries and cafes in the heart of La Jolla village. Off street parking is a huge advantage, although you need a bit of practice to get in and out of the driveway on a busy corner. Great local info and directions from our hosts. Loved the elevated and covered patio for morning coffee. There is street noise, but never enough to bother us even when we kept the windows open all the time for those beautiful cool ocean breezes. Will plan to stay there again on any other visit to the area! ##### Marshall M. It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit! San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, Balboa Park, La Jolla beach, etc. ##### Arden Q. Such a cute place with a wonderful patio. Everything we did was within walking distance which was great given the traffic this time of year. The only downside is the traffic noise when on the patio. The property is at a very busy intersection. The uniti s the upstairs of the owner's property but it wasn't a problem.The location is ideal and easy walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor space. Comfy bed and sofa bed but awkward setup for kitchenette and bathroom is tight. Overall a good stay for the price and location. ##### Lea B.
