We had originally looked at a place right on the beach at La Jolla Cove, but the smell from the sea lions made us very glad we were a block away. It’s in the middle of shops and restaurants, with lots of things in walking distance. We found free parking every night on the streets to the east of the condo. The condo has been recently renovated and was very clean. The only downside for us was that the bed is memory foam, which we don’t like. ##### Vicki D. However, a critical miss in the listing is the lack of adequate air conditioning or fans. There is one AC unit tethered to a window in the bedroom and the average inside property temp exceeded 86F for all 3 days with the AC unit set to 61F (since it could no go any lower).The is a portable fan but this is undersized to make any difference. The heat inside the property forced me to spend more time exploring La Jolla, so it’s not all bad. ##### Mark M.
