"Place is great for families and I have a family of 5. 3 minute or less walk from the beach. Ocean House provides rooms that are more like small Loft apartments! We were able to cook and store all of our food. Dishes were provided in the room. The kids loved it . Would stay here again. "This is a beautiful old-fashioned hotel with a lovely breakfast available overlooking the North Sea. The staff members are cheery and very helpful. The beach area and the pier (definitely take a Ferris wheel ride) offer great dining options and fun for families."

"Lovely hotel experience - really nice staff, delicious breakfast and great room. It was very good to have an extra door between sleeping area and loo (privacy!)/corridor (sound insulation). Appreciated the cool filtered water available and environmental commitment. We also hired bikes from hotel. The only other time I'd stayed in a Novotel (years ago) it was a bit grotty now but we would definitely choose again."

"The family room was very nice. But the housekeeping has days off, so you have to clean your own room. The pictures show a breakfast buffet, but no breakfast is served. And the rooms don't have any facilities such as a refrigerator that would help you to prepare your own. The hotel has a kitchen, but it is off limits to guests. The heaters were switched off till we complained about it. The hotel personnel is not on-site, and they're not reachable 24/7, which delayed this even further."
