![Found a nice overlook on my trip down to Atlanta. I have decided to leave for any trip a hour early and find something I haven't seen in-between. This time it was the dam. I got there about 15 minutes before sunset. Colorized it some, but still like it. 

I ended up talking to a lady for 30 minutes about the area. Seems I'v been missing out on a lot around here, especially if you like waterfalls. "If you are looking for a place to gather with family and friends, this is a great choice. We stayed in November to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday, so the lake was not a huge draw. The water level was down by the house this time of year and not useable (we knew this and didn’t plan to have a boat). We chose this place as the location was central for us and it was large to accommodate our group of 20\. Plenty of beds, kitchen was large with two of everything, and two large tables for dining. The golden T golf game was fun, as was the ping pong and hot tub. This neighborhood is full of rentals, so if you are coming with a group and need more than one house, you could easily find another close by. We walked the neighborhood in the morning, it has a few very steep hills, so you will get a workout for sure! Driveway accommodated our six vehicles. Overall, we enjoyed this place for a weekend with family. We said it would be fun to come in the summer and bring a boat!"

"Our family had the most amazing vacation at Family Affair home!! There is so much space. We had more than enough space for our family. The bedrooms are all spacious. There is so much to do that we hardly ever left the house. With 2 kitchens and dining areas we had everything we needed for our family chef to do his thing. The kids had a blast playing and running around the area hiking and exploring.We will be back in the summer time and take a trip to the jumping bridge!!The double decks on the boat dock was awesome for sitting and enjoying the beautiful views!"
