Horsin’ Around House at Plum Crazy Appalachian Resort is a family friendly dog friendly Appalachian mountain getaway walking distance from two waterfalls and fishing across the street. Drive your SxS/ATV/Jeep out the driveway onto Rock Creek Ln 1 mi to Rock Creek waterfall and trails #3 & #36 just past the falls (you will need to purchase a per vehicle license to ride TWRA) WE HAVE SxS RENTALS AVAILABLE for booking separately. We can also help you book Trail Guides and buying your Trail pass. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and 2 trailers around the house (we have had three 24’ trailers up there but not recommended) we have easier flat parking a couple blocks away in our dry flat yard. We have a hose with sprayer outside, old towels for ATVs/Dogs/mud clean up and a washer/dryer just inside the mudroom. There’s a couple boulders to park your SxS/Jeep on and take pictures at the top of the driveway. We have a firepit surrounded by boulders to sit on with solar lights around the perimeter and charcoal grill. Full amenities in the kitchen including blender, coffee makers, crockpot, and even an ice cream maker are provided for your use. The house has a huge deck with plenty of room to play games available or sit on the porch swing and read a book. We have high speed internet, smart TV, private TVs in both bedrooms and plenty of DVDs to choose from. The main bedroom suite has a large garden tub and a large separate shower. The living room couch does not pull out but is twin bed size with extra sheets in the bedroom closet, there are no more bunkbeds but there is a daybed/twin bed in the great room area. If you have little kids with small ATV/dirt bikes too small for trails we have a huge yard around the playset & firepit next door they can ride all over. We loved all of the little extras that were provided: extra towels for the dogs and atvs, smores supplies, charger port with all types of chargers, etc. She even had stuff for us to celebrate New Years since we were there New Years Eve. My wife and I enjoy riding our SXS, and traveling to new locations. But after this past weekend, I think we found our favorite place. Everything was perfect, very clean, attention to every detail to take care of the guests. Very easy bringing in our trailer and equipment. Barb’s communication was awesome. Very nice people, the location to the trails was awesome. There’s even a restaurant just a couple miles down the road! We can’t wait for next time to visit again. ##### Chris R. The owner text me and ask if we had made it, I told her we weren’t sure where to go. She ask where we were and that she would be there in 20 minutes. We chose this house based on the location and the ATV trails in the area. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was great. She had everything we could ever need I’ve never stayed at a house that was so well stocked. The only downfall was not having WiFi but there was plenty of other stuff to do. There was plenty of parking for 3 trucks and trailers. She had towels just for wiping down our sxs and even had an outside hose to rinse off our windshields.
