The cabin was clean and beautiful. The best part was all of the space. Everyone had their own bathroom and plenty of room to not feel crowded. We loved the lake enjoyed our evening swimming and enjoying the back porch! The host was very accommodating prior to arrival and helped me plan the trip perfectly. A storm came through and a tree fell down across the driveway prior to us leaving for my husbands graduation. The owners were very quick to answer any and all questions. We found an abundance of hikes within a 30-45 minute beautiful car ride at the many state parks. We spent the whole week swimming, boating, and hanging out on the dock. We loved the fire pit, baking, geocaching, reading, hot tubbing, playing ping pong and board games. The area is absolutely gorgeous, particularly with coffee in-hand on an early summer morning when the fog hasn’t yet cleared. The house was very clean and quite comfortable, and the kitchen was large enough for two to three people cooking and baking, and even had some bonus appliances like an instant pot! There was plenty of room in the whole house for our group of 19 (half of which were kids under 10), and we appreciated that just about every bedroom had its own bathroom. It might be worth noting that not all of the bedrooms have ceiling fans, and a few people mentioned it was warm in their rooms at night. We did have a couple of things arise during the week, and Mary Beth, who was absolutely a pleasure to interact with, responded quickly, and had someone out to fix things within the day. For future renters, I would mention two things that you should know, though they don’t reflect on the house or owner. One, that the driveway to the property is quite steep; something to be aware of if you have a high-profile vehicle like some in our group. And second, be aware that the area has a 10pm noise curfew, and sound really carries on the water; if you have children who are in bed before then, we recommend bringing sound machines. First one of the coffee pots does not work, a pod style maker would be really nice as well. The toaster only works on one side. for a house this big we have always had 2 four slice toasters. A Blackstone grill would be great as we brought our own from home. There are always small issues that are not worth mentioning because the house is that good. I am 63 years old, and I don't know how many more years I can do the steps to the lake. ##### Mark M. There was plenty of room for all of us and space to be with the whole crowd or move to a different part of the house when we needed some quiet! We especially loved that there were laundry facilities on two levels and two dishwashers in the main kitchen. With all the hills, we definitely didn't have to worry about missing leg day, just climb that driveway three or four times. The hosts checked in throughout the stay and even left a little care package which came in handy for someone who forgot their bath gel (plus, who doesn't like Chex mix). If you haven't been to this area before, know that arriving in daylight would be a good idea with all the winding roads. Overall a great experience! ##### Alicia M. Overall the house was awesome. We would definitely rent again. A few things to check on. The ice machine isn’t capable of producing enough ice for an entire family. We had 20 people and constantly had to run out and get ice. The counter top ice machine in the basement is moldy and need cleaning badly. We didn’t ice from that machine. The ice maker in the one refrigerator didn’t work. Also the steps down to the fire pit could use some lights. A couple members of our family stumbled their way down and most of them were sober at the time lol. Those things are minor and the trip, location, and host were awesome. ##### Michael T.
