Great place. quiet and next to everything. less than 2 miles to compostela de santiago cathedral. close to bus terminal where you can take to have a short trip to porto, portugal.

Never heard of full payment if you want to see the room first 4 days a big hotel with 1 elevator Ordered 1 double bed got 2 beds to fall between them

Lovely Hotel. My room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Staff ultra friendly and helpful. One minor gripe. It’s a walk into town so would have liked an option to eat at the hotel which wasn’t an option during the afternoon/evening.

Poor standards!
The suite was dusty, old furniture was heavily marked & stained. The curtain in the bedroom didn’t fit, therefore as soon as dawn broke light shining in, also noisy as the stairwell has no carpet, all the Camino walkers leaving early in the morning could be heard on the staircase over a few hours from 6am Bathroom beautiful, however the toiletries bottles mounted on the wall are definitely inconvenient when bathing, also a health and safety risk from slipping!!! The reception staff were very helpful I spoke to the Director she offered to get ear plugs & curtains fixed, later kinda fixed didn’t really solve the problem Still waiting in ear plugs!

Great Hotel. Close to the city center
Hote.l is well situated -- about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and the old section of the city. There are also buses nearby if you don't want to walk. Parking is on-site and reasoable at 10 Euros per night. The breakfast needs some attention. The eggs are probably warm if you go to breakfast before 8 AM, after that they get cold as they do not light the warmer to keep them warm (this goes for the bacon and ham that is in the same pan). Next, the white bread is plentiful, but the whole grain rolls disappear before 9 AM. The tables need a good washing down, not just brushing the crumbs off, but whiping away gthe stickyness of whoever ate at that table previously.

I liked all the planting that cascaded down from each balcony into the large central area, this was a very attractive feature with real plants and not unattractive false plants. The breakfast area took good advantage of the excellent views from the tenth floor. Attractive lifts which rose through the 10 flights. The natural light pervading the hotel was enhancing and greatly added to the ambience of the hotel.

Property has lived better times. It is now outdated. Air conditioning did not work properly, and safety box did not close. To their benefit, the room was clean and the staff was very cordial and nice. Room included breakfast, which was very good. Due to covid restrictions there was no room service for food. Hotel is well located at about 1 mile from the Plaza del Obradorio.
