This beautiful open concept cottage has spacious living space for all entertainment needs. Relax and watch a movie on the big couch, enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap-around deck, and/or take a walk on the private beach. The welcoming Historic La Conner town is just minutes away with lots of great food options, museums, and fun boutiques. If you are in the mood to explore a little more - Anacortes is just 20 minutes away and Deception Pass Bridge is about 20 minutes away. This beach cottage is suitable for a romantic couple's retreat or small families with children. Please be informed that this property is on a slope with limited fencing. There are stairs to get down to the private beach. There are also stairs (aprx. 11 steps) to enter the cottage. All children, including teenagers, must be supervised at all times. The home was cozy, but very spacious. Well decorated and very functional. The owner provided detailed information and was available if needed, although we never needed to contact her. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was beautiful. The couch was comfortable for watching movies or for just watching the water. It was cold out with some snow and ice on the ground, but we still took the opportunity to sit out on the deck and make our way down to the beautiful beach where we saw an eagle fly overhead. Such a peaceful and relaxing place. We loved every minute of our stay and were truly sad to have to leave. We will be back!! ##### Shannon H. Once you settle in the house, it becomes an isolated, bucolic respite, though you're only a couple of miles from downtown La Conner. The house is comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Its internet connection is quite fast, so Netflix and other sites connected without a hitch. During our stay, there was an area electrical outage one evening. Our host, Diana, was very helpful, contacting the power company for the status of the power, and pointing us to the house's supply of flashlights. For those with accessibility issues, note that there are 13 steps down from the house's parking area to the front door. In summary, if you're looking for a place to stay while visiting La Conner, look no further. This is it. ##### Thomas M. The directions were helpful since it is difficult to see the property from the street. The pictures in the listing are accurate and the property was clean; however, there was a little musty smell when we opened the door. We opened windows and door and were able to air it out. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking out at the water and down at the beach. The steps up and down are a good workout. Great location about 8 minutes from the town of LaConner.
