"The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, if a little tired. Comfy bed. The bathroom had been updated with an excellent shower. I was on the first floor (above the owner) with a balcony, with a view of the dunes. The room was cleaned every other day by charming Marita. I needed some documents which had been sent by email and Shelia printed them off for me. Eduardo organised a taxi for me to get to the airport. It was a 12 seater minibus! On time. Euros 45. They agreed a late check out for euros 25. To be frank I did not enjoy Maspalomas. Not much culture but if you want a beach holiday it is fine.Vast naturist area with a bar. Lots of places to eat with friendly staff. We were out of season so nowhere was crowded. Paddy’s bar was popular with our group, run by the brilliant Allison."

"No lifts so if you have heavy bags beware. The rooms are duplex with the upper rooms accessed via a narrow staircase with two turns. If you arrive late the kitchen closes early and the bar closes about 2200hrs, so you may have to go out to eat."

"Guy who runs property has a lovely red Ferrari. Loves to spin around the hotel courtyard at night time, anytime after 9pm until 3.30am and keep residents awake. This happened most nights we were there. Hotel is beautiful but I don’t think I would go back."

The unique amenities such as the Suru bar and the standalone restaurants meant you never get bored! And there is a overall very relaxed atmosphere, which is needed for a amazing beach stay! I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more! Perfect for our stay in Gran Canaria"

"Our experience was quite great. Staff was 100% helpful and all our requests were attended. Very clean (even with a "clean inspector"). Food was very good and without queues, which is important also. Very good value for money compared with other hotel brands."
