Overall lovely location in a beautiful village. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the bed was very hard and pillows also hard. Just one balcony chair for a double room? Car park very tight and best avoided. However overall we were happy. Staff were excellent.

Posted Nov. 30, 2015 on HotelsLovely hotel just outside the old medieval quarter so easy to walk to, free parking which is a bonus in Spain. I wonder why hotels in Spain rarely include some tea or coffee making facility? Otherwise, excellent all round.

Pros: The room was how you would imagine a Spanish room to look and was very comfortable.
Hotel is within easy walking distance to the historic part of the town which is just like stepping back into the middle ages. The town is full of cobbled alleyways and buildings which are used and probably built about 17th century, although I could be wrong. Groups of school children were visiting the place to soak up the atmosphere. The square is surrounded by shops and bars/restaurants. The people are extremely friendly and helpful.

An impressive hotel in lovely village
Posted Jun. 10, 2015Not my first stay at the Dona Teresa as I've visited La Alberca a few times whilst on motorcycle holidays. Mrs L doesn't do motorcycles so this was her initial view of the hotel and surroundings. We stopped 2 nights as part of a 5 day journey from Bilbao to the Algarve. I scored many brownie points with the wife for choosing this hotel as she loved it from the time we arrived. I have stayed in many hotels across Spain and this is in my top three for its location, smartness and surroundings. When you add in the best buffet breakfast ever and value for money I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at the Hotel Dona Teresa.

Todo perfecto. El hotel, genial. La ubicación buena todo muy bien y bonito.
El único pero el aire acondicionado que era ruidoso en nuestra habitación.
