I can honestly say this was the nicest place I have stayed in my entire trip in Japan. The place was immaculate and I would definitely stay here again. Also plus for the friendly staff and good recommendations for local places to go for coffee etc.

Excellent & helpful service from reception staff. And giving us a very early checkin time too.
Great experience. Spacious room. Wonderful and friendly staff. Excellent dinner. Easy to get to from train station, but it’s not a convenient location to access most tourist sites in Kyoto.
Such a nice traditional Japanese in meals included breakfast and dinner. Staff were outstanding and taking care and answering my questions. Will stay there again on since we’re excellent. several onset were excellent.
We did not have meals. The property and room were very nice, but the location wasn’t convenient for us. Not a very vibrant area, although it was within walking distance to main train station. The drawback was that the room was not soundproof to the road noise, and was a little drafty. Enjoyed the wood bathtub, the public bath, the toiletries and tea in room. Staff was very friendly.
Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly, my only negative feedback is regarding the check out 10 am is super early really i dont think its convenient taking in consideration that check in is at 4pm.
Absolutely beautiful room, onsen, and the meals were amazing. Highly recommend spending a night here. Staff was very nice and patient. Might be difficult for kids, but is a very romantic and well-thought getaway from the busy downtown.
The staff and room were great. Unfortunately the room location was facing the main road so you can hear the cars passing by all through the night. So if you are a light sleeper like me, it was hard to sleep. But I did love the in room shiatsu service so that help me sleep the second night I was there.
The staff people were especially helpful ..and fun…especially the woman who showed us how to put on the yukata correctly. The bath was exceptionally clean and lovely .and just the right temperature. Only disappointment was that check in was at 4:00 …and by most properties allow check in at 3:00. Overall, a lovely experience!
We loved staying here! The suite was beautiful, the service was brilliant and the breakfast delicious. We only wish they could have accommodated us for dinner.
We also highly recommend trying the bath house upstairs. Absolutely loved it here !
Our stay at this beautiful Japanese-style hotel was outstanding. The breakfast alone is worth the trip and the stay – lovingly prepared with great attention to detail, offering a changing menu each day. Guests can choose between a Japanese or Western breakfast; we opted for the Japanese one and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The rooms are charmingly decorated, and we also chose a Japanese-style interior, which was spotlessly clean. The hotel owner and the staff were all incredibly kind, attentive, and warm-hearted, creating a very welcoming and familiar atmosphere.
Thank you so much for this heartfelt hospitality and for an unforgettable stay!
The cutest Ryokan ever!! A perfect way to get introduced to traditions of Japanese culture. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Enjoyed every second of the stay.
We absolutely loved this Ryokan. It's located on a quiet street, not far from the JR train station. It's a great blend of traditional and modern. The room has tatami mats plus a separate alcove with table, chair, refrigerator - everything you'd expect from a modern hotel.
Wanted a getaway from all the hustle and bustle and to experience a Ryokan. Great accommodation. Bus stop across the street, walking distance to the metro stop. Dinner and breakfast available and an Onsen on site. Staff is so kind and sweet, we loved our time here.
Fantastic ryokan with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are nice and have new bathrooms from 2022. Their breakfast and dinner options were as good as any traditional Japanese restaurant I tried in Kyoto. The public bath had a scenic view from the 6th floor.
The staff was simply amazing! They were so kind and helpful. Sleeping on the traditional tatami floors was a cool experience. Trying the traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner was also an experience that everyone should try. The Onsen was great, it was on the 6th floor and you have a great view of Kyoto at night. We definitely recommend staying at this wonderful Ryokan.
We enjoyed our stay so much we can’t wait to experience it again. The staff was amazing. We had the pleasure doing the traditional dinner and breakfast and the meal and service was amazing again!
