The property and room were very nice, but the location wasn’t convenient for us. Not a very vibrant area, although it was within walking distance to main train station. The drawback was that the room was not soundproof to the road noise, and was a little drafty. Enjoyed the wood bathtub, the public bath, the toiletries and tea in room. Guests can choose between a Japanese or Western breakfast; we opted for the Japanese one and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are charmingly decorated, and we also chose a Japanese-style interior, which was spotlessly clean. The hotel owner and the staff were all incredibly kind, attentive, and warm-hearted, creating a very welcoming and familiar atmosphere.
