Not to far from Kyoto station and many little restaurants. It’s also very close to Nishihongwanji Temple which I think is beautiful and other temples. You’ve got a laundrymat at 7 mins by foot and a Presco (little supermarket). The staff was fabulous. This is a bit more like a hostel with amenities like a washer with soap provided, a Japanese style bath and shared kitchen. Nice way to experience Japanese style living. There is also a small tatami mat manga room as well. Conveniently located near the Kyoto train station and on a bus line.
