Some rooms even come with a private onsen. All the staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, and the toilet is separate from the shower. Getting around is easy since the hotel is close to Kyoto’s main bus terminal, train stations and many popular tourist spots. Its in a relatively quiet area near the train station but also has plenty of foot traffic near it which helped us feel safe and comfortable waling to the hotel at any hour. It offers very pleasant accommodations. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and we liked that they included both Japanese and western style beds. They were a bit on the small side, not enough room for storing our suitcases etc. or unpacking. There isn’t a restaurant on the property but plenty of dining options in the surrounding area.
