Great Customer Service, Lousy Cleaning Service

We liked the room at first, but we had some difficulties getting the key to turn completely to unlock the outer door in the hall. I like the fact that I felt safe and that our things were not going to get stolen, but it was mildly panic-inducing to think that we might have been locked out of our room! The cleaning service was not great. The maid did NOT put any effort into the making the bed properly, did not re-stock the toilet paper or other things, and basically did a poor job of cleaning anything, if she did any cleaning at all. That might have contributed to my bed bug scare. Fortunately, I do not think it was bed bugs. My husband spilled some loose leaf tea in his bag and it must've spilled out onto the bed, and he didn't tell me about it until after I noticed little black specs in the bed. The black flecks and some stains on the bed had me worried that although it *might* be bed bugs, it might not. Just to be safe, though, I called the front desk and requested a different room. The staff was super accommodating and moved us to a different apartment in the dead of night just for ease of mind. However, we did have some issues with our new room. The phone in the new apartment wasn't working, so we had to walk back to their check-in counter to tell them, which luckily was a bit closer to our new location, but still annoying. We got chocolates for our troubles and a free shuttle back to the airport.

Modern apartment in ruined old building

This apartment is very modern and comfortable. Nice small kitchen and modern bathroom. Area is close to center and shops/ cafes. Big minus is the entrance to the building. Literally the stairs and foyer look as if WWll just took place. If you can get over the shock of entering the place the apartment itself is quite fine. Could use a pair of black out curtains. The simple netting does not keep the light out.

The room was really good but the building was in a really poor condition. Really good that the company offers transfers to and from the airport for a very good price!

No heat, sleep in jacket or bring your own heater

First of all this is not a hotel - it's a number of apartments spread throughout the city and reception desk is a separate location you have to visit in order to check in/check out. Our apartment had no heat and we had to sleep in our jackets as it's late November and weather is not helping with that. So in general I won't recommend this place for your stay especially during cold weather season.

The apartment was in a great location. Close to many nice restaurants, the mall, Maidan and downtown. The apartment was in great condition. The common areas and elevator were sketchy, as always, but overall a great place to stay in Kiev.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Even when I locked my key inside my apartment they were very kind and quickly unlocked the door for me. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Kiev.

Helt ok lägenhetsuthyrning. Dock oklart på hemsidan och vid bokning vart man får bo. Vart skjutsade till vår lägenhet som var ok. Vi kunde inte påverka var den var.

Comforting and secure

After getting accustomed to driving in Kiev, finding the street was great but finding the apartment was a little tricky, because no one mentioned the entrance to the apartment was behind the Building. It was very secure to stay, and it was comforting for me. 2, people maximum. Still everything was within walking distance. You can't beat it for the price as well, I am going back because one trip was not enough.

not a good conditions to stay

it was cold inside, it was not possible to fill the bath- boiler is too small to fill the bath, hard to manage water temperature in shower. Carpet was dirty and floor was scratched . Towel dryer is not working

The first apartment was comfortable and clean by Kiev's standards. The Wi-Fi and cable TV did not work but things are different in Ukraine. It is not uncommon for things to not work. I needed to check out at noon and the agent found me a second apartment that is nicer but has no hot water for a bath which is something I need right now. But the people I dealt with were pleasant and helpful,

Kiva huoneisto keskustan sykkeessä

Huoneisto sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla aivan keskustassa joten liikkuminen nähtävyyksiin, ravintoloihin ja kauppoihin oli helppoa. Huoneisto oli siisti ja täysin kalustettu myös ruuanlaittoa ajatellen, tästä plussaa! Miinuksena voisin mainita rappukäytävän siisteyden ( erittäin yleistä entitisissä Neuvostomaissa) lisäksi erittäin tylsän leipäveitsen ja huonosti toimivan kuvaputkitelevision. Ehdottomasti jäi kuitenkin positiiviset mielikuvat!

Busy street not a good idea if you need a rest

It was OK overall, however, the studio apartment was not on Saksaganskogo str. but 2 blocks away. It was just like on picture though. Reception 20 minutes walk from the apartment...well... not a good beginning if you have a heavy suitcase. Anyway, I was offered a free taxi ride to the location - thanks for that a lot! As for the flat itself. It's located in a conventional (very old) building. the locks on the front door were broken:-( Inside: as a picture shows, it's really true, good Wi-Fi, nice furniture, even washer machine was there! Nevertheless, the street is extremely noisy! If you open the window you won't hear the TV! And you cannot sleep with windows closed as there is no air ventilation at all! It was a suffocating night for me:-( Air condition system barely works, it was really hot inside:-( Well, maybe it's better in winter or other season but in summer I will think twice next time.
