Nice traditional hotel with character
This is a nice hotel, well located for a stroll along the seafront and nearby restaurants. The hotel is rather dated but not in a dire way, adding character to its rooms and nice balconies. The lift can be crammed in the morning so this is worth planning for as you exit, particularly as we did with a large tourist group trying to exit at the same time.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the location was great and pay parking lot behind hotel was convenient but a bit expensive. The area has many local attractions within walking distance, and areas to swim. As well as coffee, restaurants and bars. The bar at the hotel was a nice amenity, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. Two things that we missed in our room was having an iron in the room, and access to ice.

Awesome staff, wonderful location, clean hotel and great food for breakfast and dinner as well. Several beaches are on a walkable distance from this hotel. We were amazed by all their staff, they went above and beyond to help us and recommend anything that we were interested to try. Special thanks to Ana, Luka and Bojan from the hotel reception. The hotel itself was fine. Room was a nice size, high ceilings. You look out over a park to the sea 3 blocks away. The room, however, was very warm when we arrived (10pm). The AC was not turned on yet for the season, and they had a Latin Dance contest in the lobby, so opening our windows wasn't possible unless we wanted to feel like we were in the competition! Night manager refused to change our room :-(

Excellent location. A short walk with rolly bag up the hill on upside of the Main Street. Excellent breakfast food. Tasty and hot eggs, various fruit, nice assortment of buns. Good hot coffee and cold juices. Lovely all around. Right across from Angelino park. Thank you!

After an inauspicious start (the room allocated was not as booked), we were given a wonderful room with balcony and superb view. Sadly, a simple request for tea making facility in room was 'not permitted', but otherwise the staff were pleasant and helpful. Car parking is tight for the Bristol - nowhere outside hotel for drop off on a busy road - but fortunately we were able to secure one of the very few on site carparks at rear of hotel. The location is otherwise good: opposite Park Angiolina and good proximity to centre of town and the Lungomare promenade.

Great location in the heart of Opatija. The hotel has old world style and is reasonably priced. Room was large and a/c functioned well. There was a nice buffet dinner at good price, plus the excellent breakfast served in the ball room.

This hotel is stunning, inside and out. When we arrived way earlier than the checkin time, a very nice staff member organised a room so we can get in earlier. This was important to us as we travelled all night. Rooms are stunning and the lobby and the breakfast room are so beautiful. Right in a heart of the town. Will come back again.

Nice hotel, good breakfast
Stay was pleasant, everything is well-organized. Some guests are rude and do not want to wear masks around food and the staff is not doing anything about it. Overall, room are nice, sea view is pleasant and location is great. Downside is the parking. Highlight is the breakfast.

Hotel is advertise as hotel with private parking that is at least misdirection if not a lie. They have 4 parking space in hotel with over 100 rooms. Other option is public parking that cost over 20 euro per day.

The location is great! To load and unload your luggage is really hard because the place you can park is not on premises and their is nowhere to park while you are dealing with the luggage. The views are beautiful. The breakfast was very good. Registration was really hard. I had prepaid a sea view two bed bedroom. When they gave the the keys, it was a single bed with no view! I had to argue for about ½ hour until I finally got a room. Not only a room, but a suite at the same price! The problem was thai it still had one bed. Again the arguing started and finally around 9pm we got a rollout bed put in the room. After that, we loved our room and experience at the Bristol/

Overall great hotel. Big modern bathroom, got an upgraded room for free which was really large, staff was friendly, great location, walking distance (< 1 mile) to the promenade/down to the water, on the same street as lots of shops and restaurants, fast wifi, nice breakfast buffet. We were able to find metered street parking out front but I believe there was a garage nearby too. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was right in the middle of town for our one night stop over. Sea shore restaurants are only a short walk away. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. Breakfast had an excellent choice. On site parking available.

Lack lustre experience. Cleanliness was compromised by mold in corners of shower. Bedding provided was uncomfortable. On the upside, location can't be beaten, room was large and breakfast provided was good with plenty of variety. Opatija and the surrounding areas are fantastic, however this hotel leaves much to be desired.
