Hotel is located right on the fjord with amazing views of the fjord and glacier. The room was quite adequate for our stay, had a patio door to the outside which was nice. The breakfast was very nice with good selection. A disappointment was being asked to pay for an extra pillow for my daughter who had broken her collar bone and needed some additional support while sleeping. The area is absolutely gorgeous and idyllic.

The staff was GREAT! They made us feel at home and were very friendly. The rooms were neat and clean. We were located close to the Steinsdalfossen and a bit further to the Voringsfossen. The Trolltunga is accessable too; you just need to be prepared for a 20 km hike. Oh, and the breakfast rocks!

We stayed for a nigth GOOD: - good breakfast - shower with pressure - room with good size and confortable, no noise - wifi and fast checkin BAD: - dirty common areas and room corridor - gap between bathtube in shower and wall, water leaks to the floor

It has a connected swimming centre and is right next to a lovely beach with a great view. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition, very clean and cosy. The only letdown was the Christmas dinner buffet, which unfortunately we couldn't have because the fish and veggie options were limited. But a very good variety at breakfast!

Please note if booking through a 3rd party, like Expedia, the pool is not included. This was not clear in the description as it states swimming pool available. Was the main reason we booked. Still outstanding complaint with Expedia which has gone unresolved for several days since making the claim. Hotel understands but did not compromise as it was Expedia’s issue. Ball still in your court Expedia customer services.

We selected this property specifically for the indoor pool, well, the day we checked in we were told the pool is closed for maintenance for the whole week. It would have been nice of them to let me know this in advance so we could have changed our booking to a different hotel. The hotel is in a very small town with very limited dining options. The hotel restaurant is very bland even the breakfast was the worst of any we stayed in. Had dinner one night where the chicken burger was just horrible.

Expedia ad is misleading. View from room with river view is not pleasant. Check in clerk was unprofessional, discourteous, rude and sexist. Ignored wife's questions and only responded after I repeated the questions. The facility is decent, but this staff member is enough to recommend avoiding

The men on neighbor room had a party and talked in the hallway loudly. The party lasted whole night. I got awaken up by them 1 time at 2 am, 1 time at 3am, and 1 time at 8 am. I asked receptionist came with me at 3pm to stop them, but then just completely ignored and even did not say sorry. What a terrible experience
