"It was a quiet villa in the isolated forest. We had a tough time locating it as we reached after sky turned dark. Fortunately, a call to the owner Hideo-San and he came to fetch us! "We loved the location in Annupuri as it is about a 3 minute walk to the slope. Annupuri mountain is much much quieter than niseko. You can traverse from the top of Annupuri to other resorts and get down to Niseko that way rather than catching a shuttle bus around the base. Just make sure you have an all mountain pass. Niseko negula is really flash! Beautiful wooden retreat, lovely staff, great food and amenities, great views. Loved it!! They have a driver who can drop/pick you up from onsens...

"We stayed for one wonderful week, with 1 room for 3, and 1 double room for 1. Our hosts provided for everything, including delicious dinners, one a sushi dinner and the other a pork based dinner. Both were beautifully done and a great way to experience traditional Japanese food. As a bonus for skiiers the Inn was only about 200 yards from the Annupuri gondola and walking distance to a variety of local restaurants. A delightful experience overall. "

"We stayed at Pension Alice to add a few days on to a Niseko ski trip. As the location is out of town and we didn't have a car we relied on the (very friendly) proprietor to drive us up to Hirafu Welcome Centre and back each day - this works fine as long as you aren't expecting to be at the very front of the lift queue in the morning or to do loads of night skiing. Also in the evening they gave us a lift in and we got a taxi back (Y700) or walked (15 minutes from Hirafu Intersection/Seico Mart,...

"Beautiful pension located only an eight minute walk from the main street- walking distance to the Hirafu gondola and chairlifts. Room was small but clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast provided every morning between 7.30-8.30am. Would stay again!"

"Very nice owner/hostess. This is a very clean typocal Japanese pension. Nothing fancy except the toilets, which are the high tech heated seats/bidet. Conveniently located in Hirafu village with easy ski access. "

"This place is a hostel for hotel prices. Niseko is expensive for sure, but this place is extremely expensive for what it is. One shared shower between perhaps 12-15 people. The breakfast is super average and the value for money at the associated eateries (where breakfast is served) are super expensive for the size of the meals. The staff working there were super nice but the owner maybe shouldn't be client-facing. "

"True ski in ski out property! Ski lifts right outside hotel door. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 6 nights. In room washing machine was super helpful since we were traveling with kids. Close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel provided transport from hotel to Hirafu Welcome center which is where our shuttle bus from Chitose Airport dropped us off at."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Chatrium in our 1 bed apartment. The staff were super helpful when needed and the shuttle service to the Gondola and Dot Base was fantastic. The driver took our ski's and poles from us each time securing them on the bus. The bar and restaurants in the hotel were also greaz and convenient. The hotle is located in a perfect position for eating out etc. We had a car and there was free undercover parking that was hassle free. We will def stay here again when we...
