The place was even more lovely than the photos! It was very clean, had some amazing views and all the amenities needed. There was even an electric fire which made the place very cozy at night. Sandra was one of the best hosts I've seen - warm, friendly and generous. Our kitchen had some wonderful extra treats and she was amazing with my energetic son. She even brought her quails down for him to see (which he loved)! The property also had sheep which he enjoyed feeding grass too. Cottage 3 was spotless, warm and cosy - the sunny back balcony was a wonderful place for afternoon tea or glass of wine. We would definitely stay again, it is well located for the upper Hawkesbury and Bilpin areas but still quiet and peaceful. Very generous and thoughtful touches provided - milk, eggs, bread and much more. Even the sheep welcomed us - very friendly and curious. From the balcony at the back you can sit and view the sunset over mountains. Great location. Close to Windsor, Richmond and Bilpin. Great for visiting markets, fruit picking etc in the area. Sandra and her family are wonderful hosts. Close by if needed but also giving you space to explore and relax. We came in late to the cottage but it was easy to find and Sandra left us great instructions. It is a perfect clean and cosy cottage and Sandra supplied some great essentials for breakfast. Waking up and watching the fog roll behind the hills from the balcony, as well as feeding the goats is just some of the relaxing activities we enjoyed on our short stay.
