The lobby is in nice condition, the hallways leading to the rooms have filthy carpeting. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have mold in the showers, mirrors are peeling in the back. We switched to the executive floor and the bathrooms were slightly better but the hallways were in the same dirty condition. Staff is friendly. The place needs some TLC.
Needs some renovating,needing new carpeting, refreshing general room appeal, finishing in bathroom recaulking, and plumbing, dining room as well, staff v. helpful, housekeeping staff also v.helpful, …general bathroom supplies should always include a face towel or hand towel!
Room purchased for stay was a king bed but was initially given a twin bed. Eventually given a room with king bed but room condition was terrible. Fixtures were literally falling off like door handles, bathroom not quite clean and amenities like bathroom soap missing. We were given another room but linens like bath towels were dirty and bedsheets smelled. Not something one would expect from a reputable hotel.
Only good thing was the duty manager (Mr Jamahari) handled the initial issue professionally and with utmost courtesy.
Room was very small and not well kept, bathroom was very dated and not well cleaned. Towels were changed daily but replacements were stained and not well laundered. Had to ask room cleaner for hand towels. No drinking water provided on room
Terrible Toilet, Bathtub dirty, Ants is everywhere, No Floor Tower, No Bath Gel only Soap, Bath tower is not clean, Room Not Clean have lots of dust and dirts on tables and chairs...... Never come back again!!!
stayed at room 325, riverview.Great stay at good location near the waterfront.Walkable to market street , top spot, water front ,bridge and shopping mall.
Only downside , buffet breakfast is kind of expensive and parking is limited .Better housekeeping and toiletries supplied can improved further.

There were no mineral water/ drinking water provided at the hotel
There were no tooth brush provided in the bathroom.
I suggest HOTEL to provide that items above for the visitor convenient.

Hotel staffs especially the concierge and reception staffs are friendly and efficient. Hotel rooms looked newly revamped too.. I had a pleasant stay in Grand Margherita Hotel. Thank you!

Helpful staffs. Hotel exterior needs a new coat of paint.
The location is convenient but there are issues with cleanliness and service. Although staff were friendly, they were not helpful or efficient. I was shocked that when I asked the reception for a few envelopes, he said I could only have one! And then my friend left a package for me and the reception said they did not know anything about it. I finally tracked down the staff who received it. That was the level of service...very sloppy.
Hotel security is not as good as anyone can enter the hotel easily even with or without access card to any floor. Appearance of building is so much older than image. Blanket got abit of stain but is fine for us. Slipper quality is the worse I even seen, not even make of paper.
Stay in the executive room- ask for special decoration and cake and they reply they will do a simple one with cake. But check in with only a love Swan on the bed that all. Upon this request, it took me 3 weeks to get an reply from their staff.
Good points - located conveniently, breakfast or cocktail choices for executive is a plus point (cleanliness is so much better than level one public breakfast) staff is helpful.
