I expected more from the Ritz-Carlton. Not only as a Marriott Gold Elite member but in general from this brand. I was disappointed at the complete lack of understanding or help when I arrived early after flying for a day. Exhausted and about to pass out the staff didn't even offer a glass of water while I waited for my room to be ready. They seemed indifferent and couldn't give me a timeframe of when a room would be ready. However, another couple arrived early and was escorted to the lounge to wait. It was only when I asked for the contact info for the GM, which I had to insist on as they initially told me they only had a duty manger card, that there was finally some movement on getting me into a room.
