The check-in experience was poor on 31st August 2017\. I made a previous call requesting possible early check-in but was rejected. This is understandable since the staff mentioned the hotel was fully booked on the previous day. However, when I turned up at 1430 (normal check-in time 1400), I was told to wait due to the previous customer late check-out and lack of cleaners. The receptionist was polite and apologetic, still this should be dealt with more effectively by management knowing a fully booked period. There were others who came around the same time as I and were made to wait too. The room is clean and air conditioning is great. Security at the hotel is good. Wifi is free though a little slow. Only one parking is permanently reserved by the hotel and so it is on first come first serve basis for customers with cars. Probably the only selling point. The check in process takes about 10minutes. There is no lift to go to 3rd floor which is where my room is. When I climb up the stairs and find out that the room card does not work, it is the most suffering period because I will need to go down the stairs and reach the receptionist for help. The receptionist then told me the number of the reception so that I do not need to go down again to get the door access. Why do you not tell me when I check in? Then I go up again and still the room card does not work. The Nepalese receptionist comes up with the master room card and open the door. I ask him what if I want to go out in the late night and he says, I will need to call him to open the room again.
