Crumbs all over the sofa. Random dirty water on the floor in multiple places. Bedsheets that looked like they were slept in five minutes ago. When I informed the homestay reps about this, they sent over a housekeeper who maintained a cold sullen resentful expression the entire time she was there. She merely swept the sofa crumbs onto the floor, and did nothing about the bedsheets. I requested to cancel but, while the homestay reps acknowledged the photo evidence I sent, they ultimately did nothing other than offer hollow excuses. I contacted Expedia and received compensation for this horrific experience.
