It does need some repairs, there was a kicked in hole in the wall next to the bed and flaking paint in the bathroom. The location was great for the train station, very convenient and there were shops around for snacks and drinks. The owner/ manager was great for communication in general. Our issue was that the AC stopped working and we lost a day of doing things waiting for the repair man to come and fix it which then took two hours as the unit had not been serviced recently. The owner/ manager went rather silent when we complained and requested compensation for this lost day of our holidays. Last issue for us was that for a 16 night stay, we were left two loo rolls at check in. When we requested for more, were again provided two. We weren’t going to keep requesting so we bought our own. But please be reminded that it is not a hotel. Room service is available with a fee. You will be asked to pay two deposits and a cleaning fee. My room was provided with a roll of half used toilet paper, and an empty tissue box and another box with a few remaining tissues. Food options and supermarkets within walking distance even late into the night. There are 2 top rated bars and a few cafes around. Room was facing back of the property with Robson hills in the distance so it was quiet as well. Room was comfortable and mostly clean but apart from the kettle, the other crockery isn't usable with food stains on the utensils and burn marks on all the pots and pans. Tolle Lage, aber komplizierter Check-in (nur nach telefonischer Voranmeldung kommt jemand mit dem Schlüssel vorbei). Die “Reinigungsgebühr” ist höher als im Angebot angegeben (60 statt 50 Ringgit). Aber es war nicht sauber! Eine Kakerlake kann mal vorkommen, aber hier gibt’s echt Probleme. Aber es gibt einen schönen Pool in der 9\.
