The hotel was very well placed for the Jewish quarter with plenty of dining options close by. Old town was just a 20 minute walk. Being on a busy street means keeping the windows shut because of tram noise and also restricts taxi pick ups. My only complaint about the hotel was a "sweaty" sleep, due I suspect to a plastic mattress cover.

Positives: Large clean room, comfy, large king-size bed, nice amenities, good amount of storage space, good shower, daily complimentary bottles of sparking and still water. Complimentary buffet breakfast with hot and cold items. Negatives: poor tasting filtered coffee at breakfast, no tea/coffee room amenities or kettle. LOCATION: Right in front of a tram stop, 2 stops away from the Old town, and around a 15 minute walk. OK, but could be better as a bit out of the way to walk into town. Also, avoid front-facing rooms as the tram noise will keep you up at night. Staff: overall OK, some reception staff better than others. I found that they lacked the warmth of reception staff at the other hotel I stayed in Krakow (also 3* of similar price). Would I stay again? Possibly, though would prefer a hotel with closer walking proximity to the centre.

Enjoyed our stay at the Colombus, the bed and pillows were so comfy, i would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room and am sure that a bar was advertised in this hotel and that was missed because we were a party of 6 who enjoys relaxing with a drink in the evenings

Lovely Hotel
Hotel Columbus is a beautiful hotel. It is in a central location of Krakow with access to public transport, restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. The rooms are well appointed , comfortable and clean. My only criticism is of the two gentlemen who maintained the reception desk during my stay. They seemed better suited to be working the intake of a prison rather than your lovely hotel. They were dour and not particularly friendly. Overall I was very pleased with my experience and intend to book my accommodation at Hotel Columbus on my next visit to Krakow…

Would recommend. Pros: Very clean. Comfortable beds. Windows can be opened. Spacious bathroom. Centrally located. In walking distance to major sights. Next to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Friendly staff. Breakfast included. Cons: No onsight parking available, staff will direct you to a nearby lot. No tea kettle in the rooms or in the lobby!!! Rooms facing the street can be noisy if you have your windows open.

We chose this hotel based on reviews that we read. Everything was exactly as we expected. Staff were wonderful, price was very reasonable, breakfast was nice, and the location of the property was great for convenient and easy10-15 min. walks to different sight-seeing areas of the city. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel for your visit ro Krakow!!!

Excellent hotel in great location
The hotel is in a great location - Kazimierz has a lovely atmosphere but trams stop outside the hotel for easy access to Old Town, station etc. The hotel is very well kept, my room was very comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a great location for all the sightseeing around Krakow (Jewish Quarter and Old Town all in walking distance). Great selection available at breakfast. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. The only negative with the hotel is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Beautiful old fashioned proper vintage furniture. Spick and span, very comfy bed. Staff who were friendly and very approachable and concerned for our well being. They could not do enough for us,even standing up from their seats in reception as we checked out. We immediately missed them and the Hotel.

Great central hotel
The hotel is in a good place to see the city. It is very clean. The towels were changed every day when they didn't really need changed. The staff were very helpful. We requested a room at the back at the hotel as the traffic may be noisy at the front.

Great hotel
Absolutely outstanding in every way. The hotel arranged to collect us from the airport and to take us back on our return journey. Check in was swift and polite. We asked for quiet rooms and they provided them to us. Rooms were average size, warm, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, hot and cold dishes, meats, cheeses, bread, pastries etc. Great location, tram stop 30 seconds from hotel which got you into the city and old town. All the staff at the hotel were outstanding, it was our first time to Poland and the people were superb. I would without doubt stay again.

Central, quiet, lovely breakfast!
Had a really enjoyable stay from Thursday to Sunday in December 2022. We had two rooms, one at the front of the property and one at the rear, both were lovely and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was very good - wide variety of sweet and savoury, cold and hot, served from 7-10am. Hotel is relatively centrally located, about 15 minute walk from the old town, all tours that we got were willing to pick us up from the hotel so it was perfect.

Well located and good value
Easy to find hotel with helpful staff and a good choice at breakfast. The decor and furniture in the rooms is of good standard but very dark, which makes it seem gloomy if visiting in winter. Many rooms face the street and you can hear the sound of trams outside.

Nice small tree stars hotel in Jewish town. Lots of restaurants around, 10 minutes to city center. Tasty breakfast, comfy double bed. Street view room are little more noisy (tram line outside).

As usual the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. They booked trips and advised us of any changes, even opening the kitchen an hour earlier for breakfast because of an early pick up. The hotel is is a prime location, it is very clean and breakfast was good. This was our second visit to the Columbus and we will return again.

Columbus Hotel is ideally located for restaurants and bars. It is close to the Jewish district and within walking distance of the main square. I stayed with my husband and we absolutely loved this hotel. The cleaners do a great job, the place smells great! Our room was cleaned everyday. There was a well stocked mini-bar and breakfast was nice. There isn't a bar in the Hotel but you can order drinks from room service and no bar makes for a quieter hotel and a good nights sleep! We booked taxi transfers from the Hotel which was really convenient. We will stay here again when we visit Krakow. Krakow is such a lovely welcoming place.

The staff were very helpful friendly and nice they could not do enough for us.it was ideal situation for the night life in the Jewish quarter. We would definitely book this hotel again if we were to go again.the down side was the noise from the tram however this did not spoil our experience in Krakow.

Good hotel, excellent location to visit Jewish area, old town, and other city viewing points. The hotel is clean, breakfast is basic good. It is though by the main street, so if you are light sleeper, get room that doesnt point on the street. I would recommend!
