There was quite a few cockroaches when the lights first come on, but I suspect that might be normal in these big old buildings. They didnt bother us. I am okay with bare bones accommodations and tight quarters, but I couldn't really get over the cleanliness of the bathroom and the common area leading to the apartment. The bathroom was mildewy and the towels were worn thin. The hallway was dirty and always smelled smoky. The best part however was the location. In the heart of HK and close to so many things. I was travelling with family and never felt unsafe. Not much to say about the staff. We checked in and out without much issue.
