This holiday home offers the perfect blend of tranquility and excitement. On one hand, you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the Zeeland countryside, waking up to the soothing sounds of birds, having breakfast with a view of expansive fields, and ending your day with a stunning sunset. It’s the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway. On the other hand, the lively attractions of Walcheren are just a short distance away, offering plenty to explore. Want to spend a day by the sea? The dunes and beach are just a short stroll from your accommodation.

This charming, single-story holiday home is lovingly furnished, blending rural character with Zeeland influences, creating a cozy atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Though compact, the cottage is thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay. The seating area features two comfortable recliners in front of the TV. A simple turn of the chairs allows you to enjoy the view through the classic windows, connecting you with the outdoors. There is also a small dining table for two, perfect for a romantic dinner or a cozy breakfast.  
  
While the kitchen doesn’t have a stovetop, it is well-equipped for preparing simple meals. With a combi microwave, fridge, kettle, filter coffee maker, and Nespresso machine, you can easily whip up a quick and tasty dish.  
  
The sliding doors in the living room lead into the bedroom, which is both snug and inviting. The double bed (160x200cm) guarantees a restful night’s sleep. Please note that the bed is accessed from the foot end. There is ample storage for your belongings in the wardrobe.  
  
The bedroom leads to the bathroom, which features a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink with storage. You’ll find plenty of space to organize your towels and toiletries.  
  
The cozy garden, bordered by a beech hedge, provides a peaceful spot to unwind. With a bistro set, you can enjoy the shade during the summer, thanks to its north-facing position.  
  
This home accommodates up to two adults. Unfortunately, there is no space for a cot for children under 2 years of age in the bedroom, and pets are not allowed. There is convenient parking available in the private lot at the house.  
  
  
  
The Walcheren region, with Koudekerke as one of its picturesque villages, is a place that will captivate your heart. Surrounded by the waters of the North Sea, Veerse Meer, and the Western Scheldt, this area offers a stunning variety of landscapes. From vast beaches to dense forests, there’s always something new to explore.  
  
Koudekerke itself, just a short distance from the coastline, exudes a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. Within a 500 to 1000-meter radius, you’ll find everything needed for a delightful stay. Cozy cafes and restaurants offer local delicacies, and there are several charming local shops to browse. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the many cycling and walking trails that lead through the most scenic spots of Walcheren. Don't forget to visit the wide sandy beaches, perfect for a refreshing breeze and stunning sunsets.  
  
The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is just a short drive or bike ride from Koudekerke. This historic city boasts landmarks like the Grand Abbey with its beautiful cloisters and the Lange Jan Tower, which provides panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape. Middelburg is full of stories, with every street and building holding a piece of history. In addition to its cultural heritage, the city also has a vibrant center with cozy restaurants, terraces, and a mix of local boutiques and well-known chain stores.  
  
Vlissingen, located at the mouth of the Western Scheldt, is a coastal city that lives and breathes the sea. Its long promenade offers a unique view of the passing ships, so close you can almost reach out and touch them. The maritime atmosphere is palpable, from the MuZEEum, which showcases the city’s rich maritime history, to the bustling marina. Vlissingen is a city that invites you to immerse yourself in the sea and experience its many wonders.  
  
Arrival is available daily except on Sundays, and weekly rentals are required during holiday periods.Payment is required in advance.Check-in starts at 4 p.m. On your departure day, please vacate the property by 9:30 a.m. and return the key to the location where it was collected.If a baby cot is provided, please note that bed linen for it is not included. Be sure to bring your own.Bed linen and towels are generally provided; please check your booking to confirm if this is included.Overnight visitors must be registered in advance.
