They seem terribly short staffed. So there is a loooong wait before you’re served. I feel staff is exhausted too with little or no down time. The same people were seen on duty all day long. Reception staff seems a little lost. For every query it’s - I’ll get back to you & No one gets back. I was surprised to see my villa not cleaned & beds not made after a 5-6 hours outing. When i asked why, i was asked back if I had asked for room cleaning! This was shocking. I have never before ASKED for the room to be cleaned! A trivial problem - there was no Diet Coke on any day at any meal. I had asked for it on day 1\. No effort was made to procure it for the next 3 days either. Disappointing. Lastly, the famous South Indian thali was not readily available. This was strange. We were told that you need to book it 24 hours prior. So we did that. Imagine our surprise that when we reach the restaurant absolutely starving after sight seeing & ask for our Thalis ( booked for 8 PM & we reached at 8:15 PM ) everyone looked surprised. The manager wasn’t there. The waiter looked surprised. We were upset. As senior citizens we eat meals at fixed hours. Food was finally served after 9 PM. The resort is beautiful. People come for the ambience & stay. But they’ll lose customers if they don’t get their staff trained afresh. PS. There was absolute RELUCTANCE to give us the hotel car. The staff kept pushing us towards a private taxi service. It’s not worth the price they charge. Outdated, shabby rooms and facilities. The bathroom felt unclean and unkept. Breakfast had minimal options and the food was cold. The WiFI never worked and the staff had no solutions to the issues as they were raised. Honestly this was a disappointing stay." Such as an employee approaching me while I was alone at the pool claiming I owed $10000rupes for a gold investment. I did tell management. The cleanliness outside of my room was horrible unfortunately the video I took disappeared after I sent it to the LeMiami. My review was rejected. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and when I asked for more blankets to add I was begrudgingly given 2\. The next day I asked for 2 more blankets and they gave me a dirty comforter. It was really gross smelling. The young men smiled while giving me the dirty blanket. It was very disconcerting. I didn’t feel comfortable as a solo traveler. I was there 3 nights. I witnessed an employee hitting a dog. I told him to stop and he did. There is a pregnant cat who looks and acts hungry. I mentioned this to the front desk. The food was good. The location was not very good. Although Serenity Beach was a short walk away I felt uneasy walking there alone because of the stray dogs. There were no coffee shops near the resort and LeMiami only provided instant coffee. I did make the best of it and do day excursions. Also there were things out of LeMiamis control like construction which limited access to the hotel. Also there was loud chanting through a speaker that would either last for a long time or briefly. Early in the morning 6am or late at night. LeMiami is not a spa or resort.
