Plus - Good location: quiet neighbourhood with easy access to town and other tourist attractions. Small grocery store is situated in the same building for stocking up on supplies. Quick checking in and out at the front desk. There are a number of good staff there - friendly and attentive. But there are also a number of stuck-ups there as well. Minus - Sparsely furnished (unlike the ones shown in the pictures). Cleaners didn't do a good job making up the rooms. Parking is not free, even for guests. It is made worse if one is to enter and exit the parking garage multiple times in a day because it is on a per entry basis. No convenient ramps to assist the elderly and those physically challenged. Housekeeping personnel cannot take and fulfil multiple requests. Multiple calls had to be made to get iron, ironing board, and hair dryer to be sent to the room. The refrigerator doesn't work, and no attempts were made to get it fixed even after informing the front desk twice. We quit asking after those 2 times. Their practice is to "ignore the guest, and eventually the guest will quit asking; hence, solving the problem." A day's worth of groceries went bad because of the fridge. Waited hours for Maintenance Staff to check/fix it. By then it was midnite. They changed us to another Unit. In the 2nd Unit the Guest Bathroom there was a leakage in the washing basin. The receptionist on duty that night was very efficient and friendly to ensure our stay is comfortable. He took quick actions to do the necessary arrangements. Miscommunication on the booking regarding availability of baby cots but this was sorted out through persistence and talking to management. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only one air con remote given for the entire 3 bedroom apartment! Use of Wi-Fi is charged as additional. Use of cooking equipment is charged as additional, even cutlery. Only glasses are provided in the apartment inclusive of room cost.
