The stardard is on par with any other boutique hotel around. The place is cosy and homely. I initially booked a queen bed with no window but the owner was so generous to upgrade me to king bed with window overlooking lush greenery. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I had the best sleep in a month. The hot shower was pleasant and all toiletries provided for. If anything need to be added is a bidet tap. The communal area has a fridge, hot & cold water dispenser, microwave, toaster and all other necessities. All you need is your own bread, cereal and milk, you're good to go. The location couldn't be more perfect, centralized but away from the busy streets. There's a fruit market downstairs and a supermarket at the corner. I particularly like the supermarket. They sell high quality bread and everything else you need for breakfast. They even have a good selection of beer and wine (if you're upto booze). If malls is your thing, Suria Mall is only about 3 minutes walk away. All other attractions such as Signal Hill Observatory, Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal, Harbour Walk, Central Market, Handicraft Centre and Waterfront Esplanade are all in the vicinity. If you're looking for a comfortable yet affordable place to stay in KK, I highly recommend eden54\. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. The only drawback is that there is a construction going on next stop (as of Sep 2019) so everyday you will be woke up by the endless drilling.
