We stayed in the double room with fan, and we found that the fan was enough to keep us cool. The shared bathrooms are really clean and on every floor, the shower is hot and powerful which is a nice treat for us when budget backpacking! The room i was in was small for 4 persons, and was more like a store room, with two windows opening out to the common area, not to the outside. The larger dormitory rooms looked more spacious and airy. The shower was a very small trickle, so much so it was faster for me to bathe from the lower tap. Better if there had been a pail, and a bucket bath would have been more satisfying. It was very noisy from the road traffic, and while there is a designated smoking area, the smoke tends to drift to the other common areas.
