It is located in a listed building, which was completely renovated in 2020 and dates back to 1275\. The apartment consists of a living room and bedroom (with a double bed and a sofa bed), a very well equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher, as well as a bathroom and thus offers space for a maximum of 4 persons. Guests can use the inner courtyard to park bicycles or to make themselves comfortable in the sitting area. Due to the excellent location, there is a large selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés in the immediate vicinity (20-300 m; 1-5 minutes on foot). Lake Constance is approx. 300 m away (5 minutes on foot), while the nearest bathing area, the Constance Rheinstrandbad, is 800 m away (11 minutes on foot). In addition to the many sights close to the city centre, the Bodensee Therme is one of the most popular places in Constance (3.8 km; 10 minutes by car), where you can spend a relaxing day in the numerous swimming pools and saunas. Constance main railway station is only 1.2 km away (5 minutes by car or 11 minutes on foot). Therefore, if you arrive by train, you will certainly like this accommodation. The bus stop Schottenplatz is about 100m away. The airport in Friedrichshafen is 32.6 km away (1 hour and 13 minutes by car). Zurich airport is 70km away (50 minutes by car, direct connection without changing from the airport train station to Konstanz). A visitor's tax must be paid on site. The flat must be left swept clean when you check out. She did not answer emails or phone calls. She sent instructions in German the day before we arrived, despite knowing that we were British. We collected the keys from the key box but did not know which apartment was the one we were staying in, just trial and error until we found a door the key fitted. We found some towels in the bathroom that were damp and looked as if they had been used. I reported this but did not hear anything from the host. The apartment had lots of knick-knacks and flowers in jam jars creating crowded surfaces that had not been dusted. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, there were some decent restaurants nearby and it was quiet. ##### Alan F.
