The bedroom needs a ceiling fan desperately. The portable fans did not work well, and made sleeping difficult. Loved the lush property with all kinds of plants, flowers and wildlife. Please note that most properties in Kauai do not have air conditioning, which is not really spelled out well the listings, but this property had ample fans to keep us cool. Property could use a little updating, but was clean and comfortable. King size bed was very comfortable. The property has everything you will need to cook meals. Grill pits at the pool were nice and well maintained. The location of this property is excellent - very close to beaches and restaurants. Note there are no large grocery chains on this side of the island so hit Safeway or Costco before heading to Poipu. It was walking distance to the beaches, to the wedding, to a great shopping center and oddly enough to the VRBO where the rest of our family stayed.
