Honu House is located in sunny Poipu on the south shore of Kauai. This home was completed in March of 2019\. Honu House is an open concept home with beautiful koa wood floors and 10' ceilings throughout, boasts 2 master suites on the main level with plush king size beds made with luxurious cotton bedding, 50" flat panel Smart TV, walk in closets and air conditioning. The main master bathroom opens up into a large tropical outdoor lava rock shower screened with gorgeous tropical plants, featuring two shower heads. Upstairs in the luxury bunkroom there are 4 queen beds all made with beautiful cotton bedding, an additional bathroom, 50” flat panel Smart TV, two walk in closets and air conditioning. You will also find a private lanai with water views and a swing bed upstairs. Every detail of this home has been carefully thought out and designed inside and out for the ultimate location for your vacation. The landscaping features beautiful tropical plants with gorgeous blooms and amazing fragrance to carry you into this tropical paradise. The open floor concept great room is furnished with swivel love seats so you can be in on the conversation out on the lanai or watching the 70” flat panel Smart TV. This room opens up to the large lanai with an 18 ft. glass nano door to bring the outside in. The lanai is furnished with comfy conversation lanai furniture and a dining room table that seats 8\. Steps off of the lanai you will find a BBQ and a 6 person hot tub. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make amazing meals with fresh island produce, fish, and many other exotic items that you collect from one of the local farmers markets. Mix up a batch tropical drinks with fresh fruit from one of the mango, orange, lime, lemon, papaya and guava trees on the property. You are a 30 second walk from the best beaches on Kauai. Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park host some of the best surfing, boogie boarding, snorkeling, turtle and monk seal sighting on the island. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach mats, towels and toys are all ready for you and your perfect day at the beach. Need a break from the sand? Each guest (up to 8) has a membership at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club with swimming pool, fitness center, basketball, tennis, pickleball and much more. Amazing house, beautifully decorated. We felt like everything we could possibly ask for had already been attended to and supplied. My husband and I slept in the bunk room upstairs with the kiddos and they are all true queens. Very comfortable beds. The other adults slept downstairs and they really enjoyed their rooms too. I took an afternoon nap on the swing bed (so peaceful)! Access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a HUGE benefit for us. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the atmosphere and beverages. We ate fresh mangoes right off the tree and then walked down to Poipu Beach every evening to check out the turtles. Pro-tip #1: The turtles also surf in the waves all day at the little cove just at the end of the street. Pro-tip #2: Da Crack Mexican food makes for a wonderful and cost effective dinner! There were 5 adults in our party. We loved the king size beds on the first floor and the queen bunk beds on the 2nd floor. The house had everything we needed, except the dryer was broken during our stay. The house was super clean and beautiful. We sat out on the lanai for breakfast and we loved the house had AC and was always a great temperature. The location was perfect. Walking to the beach or to get a hot dog. We also loved the access to the club to swim and play pickleball. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Kauai. Tina was friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend! ##### Jessica M. We were 7 adults and one baby 9 months old. Your kitchen has all the necessary tools for preparing meals. The bedrooms are so nice with the AC. The outdoor covered lanai is so relaxing. This house has everything you would want for a perfect stay in Poipu paradise. We all loved the outdoor shower, hot tub, massive lanai for family dinners (grill Costco steaks), balcony lanai with swinging bench, short walk to the beach, great mix of fans and A/C, and overall charm of design and decor. It's right around the corner from Poipu Beach, making it a great launch pad to explore the island. It's our second time staying here and won't be our last. ##### Nina P. We had two families stay 5 nights in this house. 2 couples with 2 kids each (total of 8). The upstairs bedroom has two sets of large bunk beds, each of which must’ve been at least a full sized bed. The kids loved having this space to themselves! The downstairs has 2 bedrooms with super cozy kings beds and the master bedroom even has an outdoor showers with 2 shower heads! This was a hit with the whole house. The kitchen is beautifully renovated, fully stocked, and had everything we needed, including seasoning. We really appreciated this since it allowed us to cook meals at home more often. The living room had very cozy couches and a big tv which was great for when we just wanted to relax. Best of all was the outside patio…we ate most of our meals out here and the kids loved the access to the back yard. The location is amazing and we walked to Poipu beach most days, which had sea turtles!! Overall, I highly recommend this house for anyone but especially those with young kids. Both the house itself and the location is utterly amazing!! Tina, the host, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to have an amazing vacation. ##### Mark R. The house is well appointed and has a perfect location. We love walking down to Poipu beach park in the morning to see the turtles, outdoor showers, the sounds of the beautiful tropical birds, and dinners outside on the lanai.
