This ground floor corner unit in Kuhio Shores offers stunning ocean views from every room, with the seawall and water just steps from your lanai. This condo features one bedroom with a king bed, fully-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities on each floor, and there is an onsite manager. Compared to other one bedroom units, our corner unit has several advantages. The view is spectacular--270 degrees. You can look out towards the bay and the green mountains beyond, and all the way around, down the coast of Poipu. Whales, porpoise, surfers and turtles can all be enjoyed out your door. Speaking of privacy, our bedroom is on the ocean side, not along the hallway on the parking lot side. All you hear are the waves, not late night departing or early arriving guests with their suitcases. The corner units are the largest one bedrooms by square footage with a larger living room area. Another advantage of our corner unit is the superior ventilation. Huge bay windows facing into the tradewinds allow flow through ventilation when the ocean side windows or sliding door are open. And just in case the trade winds don't blow, we have central air conditioning. This condo features one bedroom with a king bed. Laundry facilities are found on each floor and there is an onsite manager. The fully-equipped kitchen has a blender, microwave, coffee maker, etc. We have beach chairs & umbrella for guests to use. Don't miss this corner condo at Kuhio Shores! It's the closest you can ever stay to the ocean in Kauai. With the 180-degree views of the water, you feel like you're staying on a boathouse :)In addition to feeling the ocean, this luminous condo has views of the sunrise from its living room, and sunset from its lanai. The kitchen is well equipped and upgraded with every need of a guest is thought of. The king size bed is very comfortable with an upgraded bathroom and shower.Most importantly, the host Jennifer is amazing, very caring and attentive. She was always quick to reply when we had a question, and made sure that every thing during our stay was taken care of.We're very happy that we've found "the place" to return to, whenever we visit Kauai. Séjour de 6 nuits en novembre 2025 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Scott J. 28 nov. 2025 First of all the location was spectacular. Upon arrival the condo had not been cleaned. The owner responding quickly and also told us to get something to eat and she would pay for our meal. After returning to the condo we discovered that both split air units did not work. Since we arrived on Friday the owner said that they doubted they could get it looked at over the weekend but Jennifer did place a call to their AC people that it was an urgent matter. The owners offered us a 50% if we stayed as I mentioned I was going to look for other accommodations. After spending our first evening looking for other accommodations we decided to accept the discount with the hope that the AC could be fixed. We did go to Home Depot and purchased an upgraded fan which again Jennifer reimbursed us. During our 11 day stay there was no further communication regarding the AC. We prefer to rent a condo over a hotel allowing us to save money by doing our own cooking. Unfortunately with the AC out we ate most of our meals in restaurants. Overall it was not an ideal experience and although the owners did refund our cleaning fee, pay for our first meal, paid for an upgraded fan and give us a 50% discount it was not enough to offset our discomfort of not having AC. We usually go on three big trips annually. We fly first class and stay at nice places because we are both in our 70’s and like to be comfortable. On our check out day construction began on the unit above us at 9:15\. We were glad to leave!! ##### Scott J. Corner unit with lots of windows for amazing views! This condo has everything you need and more! Waking up to breakfast on the lanai and watching surfers to watching the sunsets and surfers was so special and perfect every morning/night!! So many turtles playing in the surf right out side the condo…. I couldn’t stop watching them! Ohhh and the birds at sunset - incredible! We found ourselves wanting to get back to our condo every afternoon so we could enjoy it!!! Don’t look at any others condos…. Just book this one…. Yes it’s a little more expensive but WORTH every penny…. The ocean view is incredible, with it being a corner unit you have a full view out of multiple parts of the unit, and you’re only about 20ft from the water. We saw sea turtles and walked to the beach, couldn’t have asked for a better location. Only issue was our unit wasn’t ready at check in but we took about an hour walk and came back to everything in order. ##### Isaac F. We LOVED watching whales and turtles from the patio while sipping our coffee in the am. Also a good place for sunset happy hour, we even saw the green flash a couple of times! You can’t get much closer to the ocean without being on a boat. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your living room. Having the bedroom on the ocean side and the full, opening windows wrapping the corner suite provide a true indoor/outdoor daily living environment. Endless surf and tropical breezes.
