It has wonderful views and is right in-between all the activities we did. We hiked in Waimea Canyon, caught a catamaran/snorkling tour to the Na Pali coast, went mountain tubing, enjoyed time at Hanalei Bay, and did other hikes. This is a perfect location to get to all these. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed having towels, beach chairs, etc. supplied for us. The condo was nice and clean and right on the water. We were able to see turtles every night which was a plus. Check in process was easy and the management team was receptive. Thank you for the beach towels they worked great! The only thing I would say that was a little off, was the bed was very uncomfortable. However, some may like super firm beds. The complex was clean and quiet; located between a restaurant and the bay. Across the street was a park. This location for us was much more attractive than the many resorts in Poipu, in terms of density and traffic. From our deck, we enjoyed watching the Green Sea Turtles frolic in the surf, the crabs scurrying among the lava rocks, and the BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets. We also enjoyed the Rose-ringed Parakeets (parrots) that roosted each night in the Palm Trees (although parking under those trees resulted in poop bombs on the car; you have been warned😜). Sight unseen, I felt like we made the right choice for OUR Kauai vacay. ##### Mary S. If you like to cook on your vacations you will find everything you need except the food. We slept with the sliding door and windows open which provide a nice breeze and the sound of the ocean put us to sleep each night. Most of what is interesting in this area is walkable. We walked all the way down the coast to Poipu Beach no problem and there is a lot of great dining within an easy drive. Also it seemed liked everything we wanted to do, dinner cruise (Port Allen), Kipu Ranch four wheeling or charter fishing out of Lihue were all about 25 minutes away, very convenient since driving long distances at night in Kauai is not a lot of fun. This is a good location if you want to enjoy the South Side of the island. ##### stephen p. This place was wonderful! If you don't like a big fancy resort with all the blah, and like a nice quiet private condo right on the water where you can watch the turtles every day, this is it. Months ago I requested a table and chairs outside and voila! The sun is very powerful and hits the patio pretty hard, but it's great early AM and evening. Kitchen was well equipped enough and hosts were incredibly thoughtful in all things throughout! Would stay again in a heartbeat! ##### Kelly F. We did rotate the foam mattress as it had divets where people normally slept. I would have liked basic supplies like pepper, sugar, vinegar, and oil (there was salt but I imagine it was left by another guest). The condo itself was nicely appointed and comfortable. All the beach supplies were appreciated. No snorkeling gear but having chairs, umbrella, cooler, and towels was wonderful. The location wasn't as walkable as I had thought based on maps. We could hear other condos but it is well insulated and not loud. The sunrises were fantastic. I would prefer a checkout time of 11 instead of 10. ##### Rhiannon W.
