From reception to housekeeping and security, everybody is very friendly and trying their best. The property itself is tired. No lobby or lounge as such, no elevator. I saw some elderly people struggle on the stairs. Their traditional suites are larger rooms with a small couch. Hotel Astor was very nice, clean and the beds were super comfy. Really liked the feel of the hotel and the staff were nice and friendly. The only downside was that we had big problems with the Wi-Fi, that kept disconnecting. Sadly the staff did not seem to eager to help us solve it, or could not as the code system they had put in place was very complicated. Also, there could only be one person connected at a time from each room, which is just not good enough. The restaurant serves excellent kebabs. There are tons of eateries close to the hotel as well. The hotel does not have a pool, the only drawback. Located right in the heart of the city - Park Street, The Astor is an old Heritage Property which has been converted into a Beautiful hotel. Got an early check in into the Hotel without any hassles. The Front Staff Personnel - all of them were extremely helpful in almost everything from advising how and where to go. Breakfast was good too - just wish they has some more options for Vegetarians like me!!
