Every nook is decorated to reflect a homey atmosphere. It looks just as advertised. The property owner checked in with us and was very responsive to my questions. The access to the cabin involves a large staircase that can be a bit challenging with luggage (and for older travelers) but so worth every step. Christie was very accommodating and helpful. The cabin is tucked away in the woods and surrounded by nature, and there are many native birds and bugs in the area and a dense tree canopy. The cabin is far enough away from the highway that traffic sounds are minimal. Downtown Knoxville is a 15 minute drive away and there are several parks nearby. There is access to grocery stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. The Smokey Mountains are roughly an hour away and offer plenty of outdoor activities too. My son just graduated from the University of Tennessee and our very first day when he was a freshman checking him in was at the little cabin and our very last day was at the same place. Highly recommend this was our go to spot all four years and we will miss it. Thank you. ##### william l. We traveled 7 hours for the Smokey’s volleyball tournament. We were able to drive into the city within 20 minutes, parked!!! This was everything that we had hoped for and more. We would 100% recommend this beautiful chateau to Everyone, even just a couple’s weekend would be amazing. It’s absolutely Fabulous! We wanted for Nothing! Cleaner than Clean, Cozy, Private and BEAUTIFUL!!! We will book again for next year’s tournament. Thank you! ##### Wii W.
