Would definitely stay again
The service and comfort of this hotel are perfect! The owners happily accommodated our every need and are so kind and friendly. Great breakfast, lovely decor, and ideal location for our summertime stay. All good :)

loved this hotel, I don’t even want to call it a hotel it felt like a very cozy ski house. It was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect. Walk to everything, even the ski lift!! I highly recommend Gamshof!!

Great hotel in a city center! Breakfast and room was great as well as sauna in a ground floor. Restaurants and nightlife are just steps away. The only issue was with noise coming to our room from a hallway when guests were talking loud at night and we could hear everything and could not sleep. Same in the morning when we heard closing of each doors from other rooms which kept me awake a lot. But otherwise great stay with skibus stoping right next to the hotel, good to use it if you want to save 8EUR a day for parking.

I loved everything about this hotel experience; but room 108 or lower were near the night entrance so it was rather loud as people came in after hours. But we loved the location, the staff, the bar, the lobby, the sauna and the excellent breakfast!

Lovely cosy hotel
Great, cosy hotel! We were given a cosy little room with the balcony facing the mountains that was absolutely beautiful :) Breakfast service was good too. People were friendly, both staff and guests.

Very nice hotel.
We stayed at the Gamshof twice during our recent trip to Austria. First on our original reservation, then, when some plans changed and we were near Kitzbuhel again and needed a hotel we booked the Gamshof again via Hotels.com because we knew we'd get a nice room at a good price. Turns out the second stay was in a better room and at a cheaper price so we definitely were pleased. Everything we read in the reviews was accurate. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very nice, the staff were more than helpful, parking was free and the old town was just 5 minutes walk away. Our first room was "older" and could have used some additional electrical outlets to charge things and we had to step into a tub to use the shower, but it was fine. The only real negative about the Gamshof is that there is no elevator so you have to carry your bags upstairs,but that wasn't that big of a deal for us.Would I stay there again? Yes, in fact, I did.

Gamshoff one of the best in Kitzbuhel. Special.
We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights during ski season. I was with my son and we skiied five days and worked (for me) and relaxed for him. Very small but nice bar, lobby, breakfast area. Traditional but hip in a sophisticated, cozy and warm way. No pool. But used the Aquarena 3 times (my kid is 9). Very nearby bus to Halmenkalm ski-lift area. Parking. Not a lot of info from staff unless you act. Great view from out balcony overlooking town and mountain. This is not a major hotel chain with all the perfections. It is an absolutely more than adequate to spend your time in Kitzi, Also I must congratulate the maid service for their great service and kindness smiles. A great vibe with a balcony overlooking the village and mountain lights for a reasonable price. Very local in some ways. Very dog and child friendly. Chic and inviting, quaint yet convenient and hip.

High season for skiing so really expensive for a 3 star hotel. Sink needed replacing and the room safe was a joke - wallet and phone size

Lovely owner. Lady could not have been friendlier. Safe extremely small. Maybe a few more bigger pillows. Very few electrical sockets for charging. But super clean. Basic but very nice. Was not quite season, so some of the recommended dinner places not open, but cannot be helped. Breakfast included and nice enough with a fair variety. The lady(same one from the night before-she works very long hours) even let me take coffee to the room for my husband. Got a very good deal, booked the afternoon.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. Great location and a bonus of parking on site and not having to pay to park like other hotels. My wife and I very very impressed with all aspects of the hotel and thought it was very good value compared to other hotels. We would defiantly stay back there again.

The hotel is really well situated close to the town centre and the staff is really friendly. They were helpful and flexible, the bedroom was really well arranged and comfortable. I really couldn't ask for more

Perfect Place To Set Off On An Adventure
What a charming and fun place to set up your ski or hiking trips. We loved the Gamshoff. It is just barely off the main street, right next to the ski transit that takes you to the various lifts and it has every amenity and a lovely breakfast. And the price is right. All the shops are just a block or two away yet the Gamshoff is very quiet with great views of the mountains and great restaurants all around. We highly recommend it.

The hotel downstairs was very quaint and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good. The only complaint we had was the room was small and lacked privacy with windows overlooked by next door. I don't know if all rooms are the same size? It is expensive (I know its Kitzbuhel) for a small room. The bed was OK but quilts were thin, so when we had the window open as so stuffy in the room, we were cold!! I sound nit picky but paid less and got better. The bathroom was small and the shower needs re -grouting. The rooms are accessed by a side door after 10 o/c at night, as the main door is locked.

Very good location, nice rooms. No elevator, but we knew that. The receptionist was marvelous. She helped us a lot with various aspects of our stay, we can't thank her enough. Good breakfast service as well.

Charming central hotel
The Gamshof was very central and convenient for the cable cars to the top of the mountains. Parking, wifi and a good breakfast included in the price. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Rooms very clean and comfortable.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Der Sevice war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, liebevoll eingerichtet und hatte einen wunderschönen Balkon mit Blick zum Hahnenkamm.

Zentrales Hotel mit tollem Service
Das Bett war eher zu weich und der Duschkopf konnte nicht befestigt werden. Und wenn das die einzigen Punkte sind, zeigt es, dass das Hotel ein sehr toller Ort ist um zu buchen. Sehr gerne wieder!

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Gamshof in Kitzbühel war in allen Sparten zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Tolle Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Wir werden dieses Hotel bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Kitz sehr gerne wieder buchen.

Hotellet ligger sentralt i Kitzbuhel. Gangavstand til det meste, og kort vei til holdeplass til Ringbus (gratis) - til Hahnenkam - dalstasjon og til jernbanestasjonen. Skistall, sitteområde og en bar med begrenset åpningstid og utvalg. Hyggelig betjening, god frokost inkludert, enkel standard på rommet, men noe støy fra nattinngang (sideinngang) i den tiden resepsjonen er stengt.

Gebucht waren zwei Einzelzimmer. Gutes und gepflegtes Hotel in relativ zentraler Lage. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und immer hilfsbereites Personal. Ordentliche und saubere, aber etwas kleine Zimmer mit TV Safe, Fön. Bad mit Dusche ebenfalls sehr eng. Parkplatz am Hotel - sofern freie vorhanden - nur gegen extra Gebühr. Skikeller (ohne Stiefelheizung) und Saunabereich mit Bademänteln und Handtüchern.

Super Lage, kurze Wege ins Zentrum und zum Skibus. Unser Zimmer hatte ein sehr großes Bad mit Blick auf die Streif aber dafür kein Balkon. Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Hotellobby war sehr einladend ausgestattet. Unser Zimmer war im 3. Stock daher wäre ein aufzug sehr wünschenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
