The room was super small, a tiny window, on attic, no chair or table and absolutely horrible room on 4th floor and no elevator. Terrible specially for high price! Do not recommendation all

I really liked this hotel. The room was a good size for a single room with a good shower.The hotel is a very pleasant place to be with a verandah which is a very pleasant place to have a meal and a drink. The hotel had a unique identity and was nothing like a chain hotel. Food was excellent. There are some excellent roads in the area around the hotel.

Nice quiet place.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. They have a bar and restaurant which was very good.

nice cool stay at Bavaria
We didn't have a long stay but it was very pleasant. The neighborhood was amazing, peaceful and perfect for calm walk. The Hotel personnel were very nice and had new ideas for welcoming you which was really interesting, Id rather not to say it so you also enjoy it. The room was cozy and beautiful, classically designed, one minor thing was that there were no elevator so I had to carry my luggage up to third floor, don't worry there are first and second floor rooms also but the view on 3rd is best ;). The town is not so big and the hotel is just a bit away from its center not a thing you would care.

Classic Bavarian Hotel
we used the Alpenrose as a base to explore the area. The location is perfect and the hotel charming. Rooms are large and comfortable. There is no elevator so plan on stairs. Bathrooms are functional but a bit dated. Housekeeping service was a bit uneven during our stay. Issues were quickly resolved but some better quality control would be helpful. Breakfast each morning was well done. Nice touch, you are seated at a reserved table. Parking next to hotel and free. Staff is friendly.

Alpenrose stop-over
A great location for a brief stop-over on our way to Italy. Have stayed here before and once again the hotel stay were superb in meeting our needs.

Nice, family run hotel in the alps
Nice hotel. Balcony was nice, as was the staff. Food in restaurant was very good. Rooms on the small side, but functional; however there is no desk, so not a good choice if you need to work. Bed was okay, bathroom okay--all very clean. Good experience overall.

Lovely Hotel
My wife and I travel frequently, and the service at this hotel was amazing. The staff kept the kitchen open late for us to order food and were extremely nice for the entire duration of our stay. The breakfast was delicious & the rooms were a nice size and well maintained. The town this hotel is nestled in is right out of a movie. The only complaint I had was the beds were a bit unconformable. My wife and I are already looking to book this hotel again!

Great hotel-definitely going back!
The staff were excellent and everything about this hotel was amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The location couldn't have been netter, with tubing, sledding and skiing just a couple of blocks away.

Great small Bavarian hotel.
My wife and I traveled to Germany from Arkansas, where we live in the summer months (we live in Costa Rica in the US wintertime). I had live in Munich many years ago and was excited to get back to Germany. My wife had traveled almost everywhere in Europe except Germany and Austria. I carefully searched for a small, local hotel within easy driving range of area attractions. Since Oktoberfest was in full swing in Munich, there were no rooms available at my previously used hotels. I found the Alpenrose in Bayrischzell on the internet and they had room for us for 5 days. We arrived and were greeted as if we were old friends. Our stay was delightful, and I will for sure make this a future stop if I return to Germany.

Great location
Lovely house in a lovely town. Stayed for one night and got one of the roooms to the left of the building at ground level. Lots of space in a nice, bright airy room. Can not fault this place.

Hotel Alpenrose Bayrischzell - Not recommended
This hotel looks better on the website than in reality. Whilst the location is excellent the facilities are tired and the bathroom depressing. There are many alternative opportunities in the town which is worthwhile visiting for it's charm & stunning location.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer und Badezimmer renoviert, das Frühstück liebevoll angerichtet mit großer Auswahl am Buffet. Auch an die Küche großes Lob, das Abendessen war sehr lecker. Bayrischzell ist ein ruhiger und sehr schöner Ort und die Umgebung sowieso toll. Dankeschön für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Leuk hotel ik denk dat het voor de wintersport geweldig is . Wij kwamen hier terecht door pech aan de auto . Wel een mooi gebied om te wandelen maar kan ik niet. Mooi gebied voor motor rijders.

Ingen middagsmulighet på hotellet. Heller ingen pub. Veldig enkel frokost, kostet 15euro pr hode. Veldig dyrt med tanke på den enkle frokost. Mulig at covid-19 hadde hatt innvirkning på alt. Ytterdøren ble stengt kl 2100. Vil ikke anbefale hotellet til noen av mine venner/kollegaer slik det fremgår pr idag.

Hyggeligt hotel og dejlig by
Vi var på ski i Bayrischzell/Sudelfeld. Vi blev anbefalet Alpenrose Hotel fra en ven og det var en god anbefaling. Vi kom dertil i bil, men hotellet ligger ca. 100m. fra togstationen, som er endestation og der går tog fra München. Så fly til München og tog derfra er nemt og u besværligt. Der er reserveret bord til morgenmaden og morgenmads buffeten er god, med alt hvad man har brug for. Aften menuen er god med alt godt fra det Bayriske køkken. Restaurenten er hyggelig med små kroge. Personalet er flinke og behjælpelige. Der kører en gratis ski bus lige udenfor døren af hotellet, fra to sider. Ski bussen kører fra stationen og så fra en ski udlejnings butik, som ligger lige overfor hotellet. så der ligger også en ski udlejning tæt på, som også tilbyder ski skole. Sudelfeld ski område ligger ca. 10min kørsel i bus. Selve byen er hyggelig og der ligger flere restauranter og et par butikker, heriblandt et supermarked. Det er ikke sidste gang er i Bayrischzell og vil helt sikkert også vælge Alpenrose Hotel en anden gang.
