Nestled in the heart of the charming Town of Duck, Tan Lines offers the perfect blend of convenience and coastal charm. Just a short stroll from the beach and within easy reach of Duck's vibrant shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities, this vacation spot is your ideal getaway! The mid level living area is cozy and inviting, featuring comfortable seating and an open, recently updated kitchen. Enjoy sea glass quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar that seats three. Adjacent to the kitchen, a separate dining area offers banquette seating and plenty of natural light. This level also includes a king bedroom, a pyramid bunk bedroom, and a full hall bath. After dinner, relax on the screened-in porch with a ceiling fan or step out onto the gated back deck with a refreshing drink as you overlook the large, fenced-in backyard. Upstairs, the primary king en suite offers a private bath and exclusive access to a private deck, perfect for unwinding in peace. On the ground level, you'll find a pyramid bunk and twin trundle en suite with a private bath, along with a convenient laundry area. Everyone is sure to love the large fenced-in backyard, complete with a brand new private pool! Pool heat is available for an additional charge of $350. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, with access located at the end of the street, just approximately 275 yards away. A plethora of restaurants and shops can be found less than a mile away, as well as access to the soundfront Duck boardwalk and the Duck Town Park, featuring concerts, exercise classes, movies, and more in the summer months. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
