Hot Tub & Beach included! Our small cottage is located in the perfect spot for seeing what all this area has to offer. This new construction is about 500 sq ft of spacious living space with a hot tub and patio overlooking the wetlands area behind the property. It is private and cozy; a great place to spend a honeymoon, anniversary, or maybe just to get away and reset. A short bike ride to see the sunset, a short drive to many public beach accesses, a short walk to Kitty Hawk Reserve where you can hike through the Maritime forest. Best of all, the star gazing from the hot tub is on point. We provide linens, towels, basic toiletries, coffee & tea, bikes, and beach chairs. We also have a book with some information on the area. We are local and readily available if there is anything you might need during your stay. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. The house was beautiful, new, clean and stocked with everything you might need! The hot tub and view are very serene.
