A two-car garage provides convenience, while the outdoor shower offers a refreshing way to rinse off the salt and sand. Inside, the upper level welcomes you with an airy open concept living space, where the comfortable living room with access to the large screened porch, dining area with seating for six, and fully equipped kitchen with barstool seating invite gatherings with family and friends. But there are plenty of free parking spots in early June. (Might be different in July or August). The regular coffee pot needs replaced, it doesn’t work well at all, we did use the Keurig. A could have the door shelve containers are cracked and need replaced. The leaves have not been removed and blow into the pool constantly. You would think the would have a vacuum for it. The inside is dated, but nice, we enjoyed the screened in porch. It is a nice neighborhood. ##### Auline D. Was given the wrong internet login and when called it was verified … still wrong. Had to speak to renternet to get correct login information and then internet was unavailable. Took a total of 6 phone calls to get it hooked up. Then sent someone in the middle of the day to fix, which kept us from enjoying the beach that day. It was a bit of a cluster. I would t have pursued it if I didn’t need to telework some. Otherwise, the house is cute. The pool area is nice. If you stay here, make sure you bring extra towels, the shower door leaks a lot of water on the floor. We are big fans of OBX and kitty hawk area and will visit again but likely with different rental company in hopes that the details are more accurate. ##### Anneliese S. The pool was a bit chilly. No heater available (even though it's Summer) would have been nice if the pool was in the sun for most of the day or even some of the day to heat it up. It only gets sun in the morning and thats it. Too many tree branches blocking sun. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. It was a great trip with plenty to do even during the Covid nightmare! We did jet skiing, (first timers and it was awesome and scary for me anyway LOL).. dolphin tour was AMAZING at OBX Marina, we ate at several restaurants that were all pretty great with Henry's breakfast being our favorite!! We shopped at several small business shops to help support the owners during this time and they were all so friendly!! This was also our first time taking our dog with us. The house was perfect for our needs and we particularly liked having a private pool. I will start by saying we had an excellent vacation and would definitely consider renting this property again. The downfalls are not enough to keep us away. Having said that, this house could use a good all-over cleaning. The windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The enclosed back porch was filthy and the furniture around the pool was also filthy AND the grill had no propane. The mattresses in the twin room snd bunk room were old and uncomfortable. As a whole, all furnishings could be updated. All interior doorknobs were dysfunctional and need to be repaired or replaced.
