"Fun in the Sun" 'All staying guest are required a governmental photo ID. Failing to provide the following document may lead to cancelling booking. This is a Thursday to Thursday rental' On the first level there is a game room with foosball and dart board. There is a private bedroom twin beds and private bath. Also included is a TV and VCR. There is a washer and dryer on the ground floor behind an enclosed area. Right off the game room outside is a Hot tub. . On the second level there are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and a full bath and another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. Two bedrooms have deck access. On the deck is a swing and seating that over look a private pool and landscaped yard. On the third level there is a great room with a fireplace (only available in off season) dining room, kitchen, and access to half bath. There is a deck off the great room that overlooks the pool and beautiful landscaped yard. Also available on deck is a gas grill and plenty of seating. There is a master bedroom with king bed, Jacuzzi bath, and private bath. The owner made the entire process of renting the property to accessing the property as simple as it could be. The property was wonderful. We had so much room. The house is gorgeous, clean and had all kinds of extras. We enjoyed the pool daily. The walk to the beach was short although you could drive over and park. We did both. The shops in Duck are a close walk and my teenage daughter and her friend made the trip on their own and enjoyed themselves. Aug 8, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Beach Trip The rooms and space was awesome. I was disappointed that the reviews mentioned a well stocked kitchen. The knives were dull and had a difficult time cutting produce or meats. The pool and hot tub were wonderful as well; used them everyday!! I did not realize the closeness of the main road to the house; traffic could be loud at times during the night. Having the sound at the end of the road was a definite plus. We took our family photos on the pier and surrounding area. Overall; we all enjoyed our stay. It was especially nice that Fay called to make sure we had the passcode!! Thank you. ##### Karen W. It was super clean. Very quiet. Only 1 mile walk to town. The owner was prompt in her responses to any of our texts. Gated area of the pool made us feel safe with our toddlers. Loved that it was a salt water pool. It was great having an extra refrigerator outside. Only ‘negatives’ were the 2nd floor shared bath had a pocket door that didn’t shut completely. A little awkward.. Outdoor deck/stairs had some loose wood boards. And the game table is starting to fall apart. Easy fixes. All and all, enjoyed our time! ##### Amanda S. The pool & hot tub were great & put to very good use. It’s a short but pleasant walk to the beach. Crossing the Main street may take a little caution & time but we had no problem with it. Fay was easy to contact & got back to us timely on the few issues that we did encounter. The lights in & around the pool did not work & weren’t able to be fixed while we were there. We had a small issue with sugar ants near the kitchen which Fay addressed as soon as she could. The two families staying on the second floor did notice an odor that seemed like pet odor. I didn’t contact Fay regarding that as I wasn’t aware of it early in our stay. All in all we had a great vacation and have many wonderful memories to cherish. We cooked quite a bit at the house and it had everything we required outside of a crab pot and wine opener. Everyone slept comfortably, the home itself was very well decorated and maintained and the pool was a highlight. We enjoyed walking to watch the sunset at the sound but did drive to the private beach each day (sometimes there was no parking available). Fay was great to work with through the process.
