Beautifully decorated with high quality and charming furnishings, this is an idyllic location for your beach vacation. And don't worry about leaving anyone behind, because Drift is dog-friendly! The outdoor area is amazing with a beautiful private pool and hot tub, covered patio, sounds of the ocean waves, a maintained lawn, bench swing, and gas grill. The lower-level outdoor living area is perfect for all-weather use and includes a sectional with seating for 10, a 60" Smart TV with cable, wet bar with seating, mini-fridge, and dining table for 6\. The fully updated cabana bath includes ceramic tile flooring, custom tile and vanity, and a glass shower with dual showerheads. The pool area has ample seating, a dining table for 6, and an expansive yard for games and fun. You will spend all your time there when you are not at the beach. Inside, find a lovely, freshly painted, and updated interior with tasteful appointments. The top floor game room and gathering area has an ocean view and includes a pool table, dry bar ready to stock with ice and drinks, mini-fridge, and a living area with a queen sleeper sectional, new Smart TV that includes cable and all the apps you need for games and streaming. The upper level also includes two queen bedrooms with cable and Smart TVs for streaming. The upstairs bedrooms share a full hall bathroom. The mid-level features the main living area and includes a living room with Smart TV and cable, kitchen with granite countertops, a center island that has storage and seating, and a breakfast/game table for 4 overlooking the pool, wine/beverage fridge, and coffee nook and a dining area with seating for 8\. There is also outdoor dining available on the upper deck where you can hear sounds of the ocean. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
