The Space: Welcome to Fade Away Cay, a spacious retreat in Duck that perfectly blends comfort, entertainment, and convenience for families or groups up to 12 guests. From the beautiful outdoor amenities like the heated pool & screened in porch to the well appointed interior, you will love your time in this home. Starting from the top level, you will enjoy the bright and airy coastal atmosphere. Beach decor perfectly sets the ambience for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that the chef in your family needs to whip up delicious meals, and the dining room offers space to enjoy them together. Relax in the living room with a good book or movie, and then head to bed in the master king suite that rounds out this level. On the mid-level, you'll find a king bedroom, a cozy queen room, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a den with a pull-out sofa, creating versatile sleeping options for everyone. There is also laundry conveniently located on this level. Downstairs, the fun really begins with a fully equipped game room featuring a foosball table, Wii console, and TV setup—perfect for movie nights or friendly tournaments. The quality of the furnishings and kitchen items were more like a goal at home instead of a rental property. There was enough room set aside for our stuff that we could move in and not have food items or bags cluttering up. Ryan was quick to answer questions, was accessible and considerate (we ended up arriving late at night and he turned on the lights for us so we had a welcoming house instead of darkness). The proximity to the beach and the gold cart to move all our stuff was on point. The stargazing from the 3rd level deck was a complete bonus and you could hear the crash of the waves in the background. The beach is a short 5 minute walk or golf cart ride away. The pool and hot tub got used frequently and proved to be a huge plus as our week was mostly overcast and windy. Very modern, clean, and a great layout for family and friends. The TV arrangement was amazing. The views were incredible and we loved hanging out by the pool. Loved having access to a golf cart. The golf cart was a big help carrying the chairs and cabana along with the kids and their sand toys. The house was conveniently located. It was a quick walk to the beach and a quick drive to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Overall, it was the perfect getaway. ##### Monica D. This is an absolute gem of a property and a fantastic host. The property itself is big, the pool is well maintained, the golf cart is so convenient to get you onto the private beach quickly. There are tons of nice additions to the property as well, all captured in the listing of course. The real differentiator here, though is that you can tell that Ryan, the host, truly cares to provide an amazing experience for his guests. From his responsiveness to requests all the way down to the little details that he's put into the property to make it way nicer and more convenient for his guests. He is someone that actually works hard to make this a perfect destination. Honestly, you can't go wrong with the Duck Tree House property. ##### Forrest H.
