Nice hotel, but their front desk staff member on the day we checked in was rude. No one was at the front, but a sign that read something like “we’ll be back soon.” When she finally showed up about ten minutes later, she said was taking care of a bathroom issue. No “I’m sorry.” By this time, a long line of customers were already waiting to check in. Her mannerisms were short.
Then at about 11:45pm, their fire alarm went off. We went down to their lobby - it was cold, wet, & windy outside that night. It took maybe ten minutes for the firefighters to arrive. Maybe five minutes later, we were given the approval to go back to our rooms.
I tried going back to sleep, but couldn’t. I had a crappy day the following day.
The free breakfast was nice. The staff there were super nice and friendly! Cheery, in fact! I adore the two older ladies who looked after restaurant and made sure the tables were clean and the food abundant.
