In town on business and had a great experience. Very friendly staff, nice big room, and a great sleep on a very comfortable bed. I will be back.

O.K. to stay

Posted 31-Dec-2015
Pros: No complaints, nothing outstanding except for friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Keep on renovating rooms - as you are doing.
Location: Mandarin Buffet and major children's attractions are north off Hwy 8 to Kitchener. African Lion Safari Hwy 8 south of Cambridge. Drayton Theatre.
The location is very good surrounded by shopping and restaurants, easy access to the main N-S 6 lane road close to the major E-W 401 highway makes for easy travel around the 'Golden Triangle'. The hotel is not fancy, but, like the breakfast, it is adequate. The welcome was warm, the place clean, the room had all the usual facilities and extras - they all worked. There are 3 and 4 star hotels in the area so the choice is probably over price. The restaurants and bars nearby are expensive for me, (beer, Caesar salad, fish and chips $40) but the all-day breakfast place across the road (Sunset) is excellent and very reasonable, with engaging staff. No pool or business centre. WiFi.

Great staff

Posted 7-Dec-2015
Pros: good spot, near 401 highway
Cons: all rooms should be refurbished to get it in a much better condition
Location: tons of shopping near by and restaurants and close to 401,, if I get the same room for the same price I would go again
we got a room that was more like a motel room , we were OK then but the bathroom was not cleaned (toilet), the front desk staff moved us to a newly refurbished room, which was much better, it was missing coffee maker but the rest was great. Thanks for the staff again

Pros: Close to restaurants and shopping
Cons: Additional front desk staff
Upon check-in, we found the bathroom had no shower curtain, this was rectified within an hour. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful as was the front desk staff when you could find them. When checking out, the night shift clerk had left but the day shift person had not arrived. We waited 45 minutes and we were then asked by one of the more senior cleaning staff if the receipt could be emailed as the Front Desk clerk still had not arrived (this was 9:50 am). I still have not received the receipt.
