We booked this hotel as we had a dance competition to attend over the weekend. The first room we were put into smelled badly of cigarette smoke. We were moved to the room next door. There was garbage on the floor and stains on the bedding. When getting ready for bed we noticed that the drain in the sink was clogged and would not drain. The pillows were absolutely awful. Not a good stay all around. Would not go back.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffee for breakfast was not prepared but otherwise breakfast was fine.

Old property. Trying to upgrade and improve same. Price is good. Older utilities. No extras other than continental breakfast.good for persons just wanting a good place to sleep.

Was very surprised by this Super 8 location. Despite being a low cost hotel, I had a good experience during my stay with my family. The front desk guy was very friendly and also gave me a better room when saw I was staying with my family.

The room smelled poorly. It was very loud. The bed was very uncomfortable (like springs popping out). I almost fell getting into the shower because there was no grip coating at the bottom.

Our beds are all pretty new (within 1 year old) however your rooms may have been older, we can definitely look at that and we are sorry about the tub as some of them didn't get the new gripping after being replaced.Thank you,Super8 Guelph

Very friendly staff. Free breakfast had lots of good options to start the day. Comfortable beds and good water pressure in shower. Safe and easy parking. Good rate for a clean and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

It was conveniently located for our purposes. Traffic noise during day but quieted down during the night which was expected due to the location on one of the main streets. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast had a good variety of choices which we both did not expect. The only negative thing was the quality of the pillows( lumpy).

The people at this property were great. I had 3 nights booked and at the last minute well past the free cancelation time my flight was cancelled and I had to fly out the next day. The hotel saw what happened and waived the fee for the missed night and let me change the booking to two days instead, very good of them. When I arrived rather late the next evening the staff was very friendly, gave me great info on where to get some food and do some general shopping and were super great to deal with I have already booked my next trip in the area and yes I booked here again, why change a good thing?

No phone in the room. TV doesnt work... no channels. This place is strictly to have a roof over you and leave as soon as possible. The matresees are outdated. Hard to get the shower working. Room overall is ok but NOT worth the $172 tx!!! Wont stay here again. Front staff was nice. The breakfast selection is VERY limited... if you like cereal and some minor extras.

Front desk provided five star service
From beginning to end it was a great stay. The staff was top-notch. They were very welcoming, accommodating & patiently helped us sort through the problems we were having with our payment methods. The room was clean & comfortable. The staff was quick to get us an extra blanket when requested late at night (not for temperature reasons, just personal comfort) In the morning our deposit was returned immediately & the checkout staff was just as friendly as the evening staff. I travel a lot…but don’t often review. Most hotels are pretty consistent in the overall quality. What usually separates them is the front desk staff. That is where this hotel really stood out. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

the place was a dive, felt like it was more of a long term low income hotel. garbage can full and overflowing. locks on doors were limited scary and would never ever recommend or stay there again

My daughter and I didn’t feel safe. We booked and paid for two nights and left after one, no refund was available. It was dirty and lots of random people coming and going all night. People smoking drugs outside their doors. Would not recommend at any price.

I am just going to comment on the check in. I had booked this for my daughter. The room was in my name, and paid by credit card. My daughter called to say they would not let her get the room. I understand that you are double checking the person that is using this prepaid room, I appreciate that. I was to fill out a form to let my daughter use this room. I could not download it to my phone and my daughter was getting a little frustrated. Finally I sent my ID and credit card info and gave my permission to use this room. I would think that if I had talked to the desk person and told them that it was okay for my daughter to use the room it would be sufficient.
