Would not recommend. Dishonest staff
I’ve left many good reviews here. Unfortunately I will not anymore. The last “week stay” I had, I forgot something important in my room. When I realized, I contacted them immediately. The room hadn’t been cleaned yet. They assured me that it would be at the desk for pick up the following day. Unfortunately it was never handed in by the cleaners/staff. A week later, I quit trying. Frustrating to think that I spent over $2300 to stay here for 3 weeks, and they would still keep my $80 item. I would not recommend

Location was great. Did not like: 1. The Deadbolt was not working properly in our Room #138 2. Large deep gauge/scratch on the wall by our Bistro Table 3. Loud Customwrs in our Room next Door til after 2am. Brought it to the Attention at Checkout to the girl At Front Desk and Housekeeping Manager and the Manager offered no compensation and said the Hotel is Closing.. No excuse..

This place was very old and VERY dirty!!!! We were moved to 3 different rooms including a room upgrade before deciding there was no way we were sleeping there! Each room was equally FILTHY! Outside there was random pillows, inside smoke butts on the ground and the hot tub was currently out of order. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Front entrance was dirty and not cleaned. Bathroom is old and the smallest bathroom I’v seen. Breakfast is kinda of a joke. Muffins in plastic and nutri bars was just about it.

The property is tired. The biggest problem with the property is there was no proper lighting anywhere. That goes for the room the reception, the breakfast room, etc. I informed them of my feelings before I left. The staff, however, or above and beyond their level of efficiency. I forgot a couple of things at the hotel and phone. On my way home. They listen to what I had forgotten they found it and they sent it out per Purolator immediately that day. I received it three days. I was very very appreciate it.

So far so good. The room is cozy and clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower. The pool was nice and warm. I think it was good for the short stay we choose.

Good stay, but could be updated
It's okay place to stay, but I think the pictures online hype it up a little too much. The lobby and pool areas are very stylish (although the hot tub was out of order when we stayed), but the rooms themselves are extremely dated. I think the TV in the room was as old as me! One of the things I really enjoyed about my stay here is that you could leave a list outside your door of things you needed for your room (coffee stuff, towels, etc.) instead of housekeeping coming in every day. Definitely could use a facelift, but for the price it was fine for a few nights.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our stay in Waterloo. Easy access to main highways, shopping mall close and several dining options in short drive. Staff very friendly and room was comfortable. Had it been warmer weather, I would have really enjoyed sitting outside on patio set up with table and chairs that was outside our room.

The initial room we were provided was not clean nor was it really updated; room appeared in disarray. They provided another room which was MUCH better. Was clean, updated shower and bathroom. I do hope they address the rooms that need it. Overall staff were great to deal with.

The staff was great. The rooms were basic but clean. The hotel was quiet the evening we were there. The breakfast was basic but I liked that it was “grab and go” style. Would stay again!

Expensive stay for unclean room
Room was very nice. The bathroom was not very clean had residue on the walls. Found previous guests empty water bottle beside the bed and candy wrappers on the floor.

The sheets on the bed were dirty. We called asking for new sheets or a new room and had to go get the keys for a new room. The heat in the new room didn't work but we didn't want to go all the way back to the front for keys again so were just chilly for the night. Would not recommend. It was a waste of my expedia $

Unfortunately we were unable to change our room upon check in. Did not realize that there were young hockey teams registered so it was noisy especially when our room given was closest to the lobby, first floor. Grab and go breakfast had decent selection.

This was our 3rd visit. Beds and rooms are comfortable. Pool was excellent. Breakast was poor, sandwiches were frozen ,no available microwave in lobby. Common areas dirty, beer bottles and alcohol left all over tables in lobby. Washrooms dirty.

Pool not open as advertised.
From check-in to waking up the next morning I was prepared to give this hotel a 5 rating. However the morning of check out the hot breakfast turned out to be a help yourself brown bag. Hot seemed to mean take it back to your room and use your room's microwave. Even worst the 7AM to 11PM pool didn't open until 2PM costing us our morning swim, hot tub and sauna usage, the primary reason we chose this hotel. So a 5 rating became a 3 rating and the hotel where I planned to stay on future trips to Waterloo will never see us again!!!

The cleaning staff doesn’t pay attention to detail. 1/4 inch thick dust in the bathroom vents and t.v, wall paper falling off, holes in the wall, paint peeling off doors, bed was made with 3/4 of the bed skirt tucked in. Very disappointed. Debit should also be accepted as payment. I watched as you lost 2 patrons because of that.
