"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. Very comfortable affordable hotel
"It a very nice no frills hotel; no fancy lobby or restaurant or bar. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable; almost too low for what you got. But note that even though it advertises an airport shuttle, it runs on a limited schedule, so check on that. Or plan to take the train, which is only one station from the airport. I would have had to wait over 3 hours for the next shuttle, so I hopped on the train. The hotel is just outside the train station. "
